This is such a tragedy. The cowardly acts were done by al-Shabab, with both male and female members.I guess this reign of terror isn't over yet as they are holding hostages! I hope that any Americans and Canadians are safe!
Thank You for the heads up on this Carrie.

Terrorists act are as old as human kind, they don't stop when there is an ideology that can be played. People took the family shopping and walked right in these asshats. What a terrible night mare for these people, even children are dead.

Noted. Yes, this is truly horrible. Seems we have murdering terrorists all over the world. What must the rest of the world think when one of our own kills "his own" on a military base in DC? Or a young man murders innocent 1st graders in their own school classroom? Hatred combined with mental illness=terrorism.

What fanatic people are able to do just in the name of hate. My heart goes out to all the suffering people.

our greatest trait as humans is our compassion, and our worst, is our capacity to hate. Imagine the magnitude of hate that these terrorists feel to be able to feed such a rage as to kill innocent people. Those unscrupulous pwermongers use religion to create (irrespective of religion) and cultivate this hate. We should be focusing on locating these people at the top of the chain of power instigating this. I am afraid that we would shocked to find out who are truly responsible for religious fanaticism.

I feel great sorrow for the victims and their families, and pity the perpetrators, who have achieved nothing but to destroy innocent lives and their own, all for NO PURPOSE other than to serve the interests of the powermongers.

Jihadists went on another rampage, and executed all non-Muslims they could find. When will the world learn how to deal with them seriously?

A busy weekend for murderous Jihadists.

2013.09.22 (Baghdad, Iraq) – A sectarian suicide bomber hits a funeral, killing at least sixteen mourners.

2013.09.22 (Peshawar, Pakistan) – Two Jundullah suicide bombers obliterate over eighty [Christian] worshippers at a church service, including many women and children.

2013.09.21 (Azamiyah, Iraq) – Fundamentalist gunmen kill four people at a store selling alcohol.

2013.09.21 (Nairobi, Kenya) – Nearly sixty shoppers are murdered by Islamic activists in a targeted attack on non-Muslims at a shopping mall [now at least 69].

2013.09.21 (Sadr City, Iraq) – Women and children are amply represented among over seventy people massacred by a Shahid suicide bomber at a funeral.

2013.09.20 (Qalqiliya, Israel) – An Israeli soldier is kidnapped and murdered by Fatah [the majority faction of the PLO, Israel's 'peace partner'].

And this list doesn’t include Sgt. Gal Kobi, killed by a sniper in Hevron yesterday. Or who knows how many killed in Syria.

The shopping mall incident is still in progress as I write this, with the attackers holding hostages. According to news reports, the mall is partly owned by Israelis and some Israeli security personnel are at the scene assisting Kenyan police.

Is it ‘blowback’ against years of ‘Western imperialism?’ So the Pakistani Christians were imperialists? And the Iraqi Shiites?

Israel is a special case, always a target. The ideological excuses for killing Israeli Jews are multiple: they combine the religious motive, Arab honor, imperialism-colonialism-apartheid (thank the KGB for this), etc. But note that Palestinian nationalism developed as a response to Jewish sovereignty. The Arabs of Palestine didn’t target the Ottoman Turks that exploited them for hundreds of years, nor did they demand a Palestinian state from Jordan and Egypt between 1948 and 1967.

In Kenya, the attackers specifically targeted non-Muslims. Witnesses said that people were asked the name of the Prophet’s mother (Aminah bint Wahab — remember this the next time you are a hostage), and shot if they answered incorrectly.

Some interesting reading/analyses on the matter:

"Was it a Psyop? Nairobi Mall Deceit Abets Israeli-Western Pipeline Wars to Oust Asian Rivals"
By Yoichi Shimatsu
Global Research, October 01, 2013

http://www.globalresearch.ca/was-is-a-psyop-nairobi-mall-deceit-abets-israeli-western-pipeline-wars-to-oust-asian-rivals/5351985

The gratuitous violence and spectacular overkill by a mysterious gang of supposed “terrorists” does nothing to further the aims of either Somali nationalism or sharia law, as espoused by the original Al-Shabaab movement, which seeks the withdrawal of Kenya forces from Somalia .

As the events at the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi unfolded, it became clear that the bloody spectacle was staged by a shadowy entity, which the Kenya foreign minister described as “Al Qaeda”. Her statement was based on the presence of other foreign assailants, including passport holders of the U.S. and Britain , under the command of a Western woman believed to be the so-called “White Widow”.

The obvious outcome of this bloody spectacle is not Kenyan military withdrawal from Somalia as desired by Al Shabaab rebels, but quite the opposite effect of hardening support for intervention by a majority of Kenyans who were previously opposed to cross-border troop stationing. It took a televised massacre to overturn the East African public’s aversion to military cooperation with former colonial masters and the Israelis."

The article also references to the main "problem" ... the Juba-Lamu oil pipeline ... 6.6 Bio Barrels Oil need to be shipped after all! And so on and so forth.

Honi soit qui mal y pense!
