Trader Joe's, a privately held chain based in California, argued in a followup memo to workers that it simply couldn't match the deals to be found under Obamacare, especially when the subsidies for low-wage earners are factored in.

Yeah, I'm waiting for Kroger to do the same thing to me & my co-workers. We have a contract that is up in 2017. They've already shortened our hours.

I don't really blame Trader Joe's- it is not a huge company making excessive profits off of its products. I wish we would have affordable health care, instead of expensive insurance!
