First Lady Michelle Obama will welcome elementary school children from three states and DC for a fall harvest event in her Kitchen Garden on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, her office announced on Monday. Sesame Street characters Elmo and Rosita will also join.

Sad to see that Congress felt they were essential but the White House staff wasn't???? Evidently they were more important than even the Prez and family.

Delightful, nothing like organic gardening. Just don't use any tea baggers for compost or the veggies will wilt and then become inedible.

It is too bad that everyone can't have such a garden available to them.
