Noted and read with interest. Sixteen-year-old Yousafzai stole the show with her eloquent and passionate speech about the importance of education. "I believe that a gun has no power at all," she said. "Because a gun can only kill. A pen can give life, a pen can save life."Malala is such a courageous girl and is very gifted.
Girls education around the world is so very important.
Thank You Carrie.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie.
The photo going around with Gabby & Malala gave me many smiles. It's wonderful to see my former congresswoman out and about and doing great work.

Generally speaking, what the 'under dog' learns is a far better teacher of life than those who are fed by a silver spoon. That's over stating it, but, women have learned a great deal from their position. There will come a time, I hope in the nearer future, rather than the distant, that the amazing qualities that women have honed for centuries will find new value in our world.

We can all benenfit from the virtues, and great strength of women!

Malala is a beacon of light to all people!!!

Thanks, Miss Carrie~
