Fox News gave a platform to a Texas megachurch pastor who predicts that President Barack Obama is paving the way for the anti-Christ.

Been hearing this tired old crap for years. Don't any of these morons have enough imagination to come up with something new? Really makes me miss Nixon and the gang.

Thanks Carrie for the link to the article by Mr. Gettys. I think Faux Noise was trying to parody the old TV show "Laugh In" with these two standing in for Rowan and Martin Read viewed and noted.

Fox News and a fundamentalist Christian pastor from Texas! Put the two together and you get lunacy and a mouthpiece for it.

And Fox News giving him voice.

Idiot!!!! According to the Bible, there will be several preachers/ministers who will not go to heaven, after the 2nd coming of the Lord. I can name one of these that will be left behind. Most of the Republicans I work with are not religious and are living with others outside of marriage, and breaking a multitude of sins. Funny thing is most of them are taking advantage of government programs, even though they claim they want less government.

I find it quite fascinating that people will quote passages from the Bible and try to pin it on someone that they do not like. I would suggest that BEFORE they start quoting as to WHO the Anti Christ is going to be that first they study right through the Bible and get ALL the facts about who the Anti Christ WILL be. There are hundreds of indications regarding this figure. There should be NO guessing as to who it is. He will be a King in his own right. He will be a continuation from the Roman power. He will have set kings up and taken kings down. He will have removed 3 of the ten kingdoms that came out of the Roman empire split up. He will have changed times and laws. He will have a line of preceders who were all working towards this same situation. He will have pursecuted the Christians of those that wished to stay with the original Christianity. He will have taken over Christianity and declared himself to be the Leader. These are only a few of the indicators that are written throughout the Bible. Maybe this Pastor is just part of the second beast power which is referred to as th False Prophet. It is also indicated that the False Prophet WILL cause all, great and small to set up an image to the original beast power that ruled for some 1260 prophetic days (years) and then received a deadly wound from which he eventually recovered and the whole world followed with amazement.
