If Turner is really serious about abolishing all marriages, I'll bet his wife is on board.

Very funny. Unusually consistent for a Republican. Usually they are all "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine."

Intriguing solution. He must be of the "marriage went down the tubes when same sex was allowed" camp. Live and let live guy.

I have never seen the benefits of marriage, why government needs to be involved at all with people's personal lives is beyond me. I have 2 children from a 20 year long relationship, and no marriage certificate. This man could be on to a freeing opportunity!

Thank goodness Rian Kiesel has kept his wits about him and shows what the final result of Mike Turner's final bid on "the only way to keep same-sex marriage illegal in the state while still defending the U.S. Constitution" and that would be that ALL marriages would be illegal. Oh sure, that would get the vote of the people of Oklahoma.

Oh, but wait. The next step would be that Church marriage would become the 'legal' sidekick again. Since you don't want the state regulating marriage, you'd definitely would want the Church to regulate it, wouldn't you. But then, that is what this is all about isn't it. The Christian Right doesn't want same-sex marriage. LOL

One issue, I wish would just go away. It is a private matter between two people. Let people be people. Who they love or marry is not the governments business.
