Sounds like another lobbyist or bought and paid for political *sskisser posing as a Christian to aid the for-profit privatization effort where the nutbombs in charge can teach whatever they please...standards be damned.

That's it - keep little Christian kids from getting a decent education, lest they learn about science and critical thinking that will help them realize their religion is a crock of ****.

If they want a Biblical education they can home school, and I feel sorry for most of the kids who are. I agree with Roseann D. This is another ploy. If they get rid of the public schools, they can turn the contracts over to their pals. No Child Left Behind has effectively hampered our schools from educating our kids.

This sounds so like South Carolina - God, guns and pick up trucks, not necessarily in that order. Be a "good Christian" so you can go forth and hate the blacks, anyone who is poor and needs help, anyone who believes in saving the environment or gun control.... well, heck, anyone who is different from you.

We live in SC due to my husband being in the military. Both of our children go to public school.

Jason R., yes, exactly. They should secede. What's taking so long?

Arielle S., Yes. They love America. But they hate just about everybody who lives in it.

Wow, how transparent. Ray Moore, a retired Army Reserves chaplain and president of Frontline Ministries is preaching to the choir. He already is making a nice income from religion and want to add some power to it through election. They're all doing it in SC so why shouldn't he have a go at it. And to be elected you need to be just that tad more extreme than your opponents. And if you can actually make some of those fools voting fore you to take theirs kids from public schools, you increase your power base now and in the future as a nice side effect. Ain't it grand (and terribly obvious) except to those that never went to public school in the first place?

Sigh...these people are getting a bit repetitive. Need to find new angles to draw in those not already racist and/or religious zelaots. Getting a bit boting with the same old, same old, protect our children by segregating them from reality.
Sorry, Carrie, can't currenly giveyou another star, though yuou earned it.

Better yet..take the public school out of the children :) One's as opportunistic a mind number, as opposed to expanding, as the dogmatically agenda driven conformist other.:) 6 of one half dozen of the udder.,Mudder. Both out to own your offspring for the slavers, war mongers, and the Debbil.

Noted. Well, that is exactly what the Koch Bros. want....their State Policy Network is trying to completely destroy public schools in every single state. Here in AZ and other states, the best way to fight them is to expose them publicly as often as possible....hopefully this "campaign" against them will snowball enough to neutralize them at the very least. With the latest SCOTUS ruling on McCutcheon, they're free to fund even more. Fight fire with fire.

This guy is clearly living in one of those parallel universes. I do not know how he got here, but I wish he;d go back.
Watch South Carolina elect this boob!
But, what am I saying, of course he's far right he is in danger of falling of the right side edge of the flat world he probably secretly believes in.
No, where ever did that come from. What I meant is he is so right to want to keep children's brains hostage to the same culturally supported religious delusion that runs his brain; keep them from learning anything that is not fully substantiated in the highly contradictory bunch of fairy tales called the Bible. Hey, that way he is guaranteed their votes, AND their money for as long as he can be a candidate!

Ray Moore "“The culture has turned against God, against the Constitution, and against traditional values.” Of course we would all know from his statement that he is Republican. It is beginning to get boring listening to these Repugs.
Thank You Carrie.
