Mile for mile, there are almost as many earthquakes rattling Oklahoma as California this year. This major increase in seismic shaking led to a rare earthquake warning today (May 5) from the U.S. Geological Survey and the Oklahoma Geological Survey.

First all the rather extreme legislation in Oklahoma, now nature is upset with this state too. Not a happy place to be for people. It just makes me wonder when the first Evangelist in Oklahoma will start to put the blame on same-sex marriage or women having abortions that has angered God rather than on the usual suspect, fracking.

This what happens with too much frigging fracking going on. For years Oklahoma never experienced earthquakes. I am happy to read that President Obama wants a serious study done on fracking. It has to stop, and it needs someone with authority to stop it - greedy companies won't stop on their own.
Noted with thanks Carrie.

Noted. All the signs are there, and the science is in....fracking causes earthquakes. How much more information do they need?!
