After his son was killed in the shootings in Santa Barbara in late May, Richard Martinez shared a powerful message:" I'm going to ask every person I can find to send a postcard to every politician they can think of with three words on it: 'Not one more...

Noted and signed My heart goes out to this man, I could not imagine my child being killed without cause. The guns are out of control, the unnecessary deaths are out of control it is high time to take a stance. I'm in Canada where guns are not allowed, but are they here yes very much so. Are people being killed by these guns yes? Most of the guns here in Canada are here illegally usually via US. In Canada if that gun comes back connected to other crimes even murder you go down on that charge of the connection. So when anyone accepts an illegal arm they accept whatever it has caused.

Gun violence is indeed frightening but the NRA continues on its campaign against stricter legislation that will help end some of the problems at hand. I prefer the Canadian laws when it comes to guns but our prime minister is listening more to the gun lobby lately and hopefully he will keep his conservative views to himself.

Signed. Why do we need everyone to have a gun and a police force (for which we pay tax)? Having a ban on individual gun ownership will not stop violence and murders completely but it will definitely lower the rate and allow the population to go about their lives more safely.

I hope I can get to this at work, tomorrow, it will not load here.
Anyone who thinks that the NRA is looking ,out for his/her 2nd amendment rights is allowing the NRA to play with his/her head! They are a lobbying organ and care only about the money they can help th munitions industry get.
