In 1996, FRONTLINE took an in-depth look at one case that helped lead to the buffer zone law. Two years earlier, John Salvi, a radical young Catholic abortion opponent, opened fire on two clinics in Brookline, Mass., just outside Boston, and killed two...

Noted. Thanks, Carrie. What SCOTUS just ruled on the buffer zone law is terrible. But, they are ruling on the Hobby Lobby case on Mon.....and I think they're going to rule against it because of this. If I'm wrong, the s**t is going to hit the fan, I predict.......

Thanks, Carrie, for this post. I wish I had the time to watch it all. Rachel Maddow did a good job too on explaining and what I took away from both is that it is rather unbelievable that the SCOTUS didn't take these murders, harassments and abuse into consideration. Too bad SCOTUS sessions always take place behind closed doors and far away from the public behind their 100ft buffer zone, because it also makes me wonder if the Massachusetts' defence couldn't have made a better job of it. Or shouldn't, because this SCOTUS is not particularly well known for its unbiased rulings, especially on cases where religious views are at stake (in the background) and when one of the justices is married to someone with strong pro-life views.

The Repugnant Party is getting what they paid for: a tame SCOTUS which does what they want.

I have two questions for anti-abortionists:
How many unwanted babies have you adopted?
How many unwanted babies and their mothers are you financially supporting?
If the answers are "none", then shut up, mind your own business, and stay the hell away from abortion clinics and Planned Parenthood facilities.

Here is a petition from MomsRising.org.
Tell Congress:
Bosses should NOT be able to make our birth control decisions for us!
The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that some bosses can make your birth control decisions for you.

We're outraged.

*Join us in telling Congress to fix this short-sighted, wrong-headed, and dangerous U.S. Supreme Court decision by filling out the form to the right on this page now to sign onto the below letter.

Hey Mr. Catholic, what about all the aborted children found in Ireland; French convents during WW2 when France was liberated? BTW Mr. Catholic the sixth commandment specifically is translated as you shall not murder. Isn't that what you did.
I am in complete agreement with Mary Cromley and Jim Phillips. Overpopulation is one of the biggest problems facing us to today; next to over consumption of natural resources. The countries that have the most over population coupled with economic woes and environmental problems are the ones that are Catholic and Islamic; followed by India and Africa.
