Noted. Thanks, Carrie. Well, at least the information got out and they resigned. I think it would've been better if they'd been fired. But, the article states that belonging to the KKK isn't a "crime." hmmmmm...

Ahhh but this isn't surprising...it's Florida 4 gods sake. Oh it is a crime to be KKK--it's a bloody terrorist group. Thx Carrie

Well, at one point I am sure it was a given that the police were KKK members. At least they get fired for it now but it is scary that membership is growing. I did appreciate and laugh at he chief's comment-"It 's not a crime to be stupid." So true. Imagine how many people would be in jail if it was.

This is no surprise and it won't be a surprise when a lot more come crawling out of the woodwork either. At least these two had the decency to resign, because Chief Deputy State Attorney Ric Ridgway already had them covered: ďitís not a crime to be a member of the KKK, even if you are the deputy chief. Itís not a crime to be stupid. Itís not a crime to hate people. It may be despicable, it may be immoral, but itís not a crime.Ē And herein lies the problem, doesn't it.
