I hope for all the AIDS/HIV patients in poor countries that this senseless taking down of a commercial air plane will not become the butterfly that flaps its wings in the Amazonian jungle, and subsequently a storm ravages - in this case - their hopes on a life-saving drug. The AIDS research and activists community has been dealt a heavy blow with the death of these campaigners and scientists.

It was such a tragedy, hope it will not slow down AIDS research too much.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie. What a huge loss of so many innocent lives. Those responsible for this tragedy need to pay for this.

Whether the tragedy was a mistake or a calculated event, justice must be served. Great strides have been made in the battle against aids thanks to many including Joep Lange, Jacqueline van Tongeren. rip
