Former VP Dick Cheney resurfaced again this week, to sharply criticize President Obama for being on vacation when ISIS murdered American journalist James Foley. For starters, Cheney's former boss blew Obama out of the water in terms of time spent away...

"Petty hypocrite" is much, much too kind.... but then, if I said how I really feel about this poor excuse for a human being, I'd be kicked off care2. I'm sure everyone has at least one redeeming quality but after all this time, I still can't find his.

"Former vice president Dick Cheney resurfaced again this week, to sharply criticize President Barack Obama for being on vacation when ISIS murdered American journalist James Foley."

As if this damn fool didn't take his own vacation EVERY August he was in office. The entire capital shuts down every August and his boss took more vacation than any before or since. This is just more evidence of the inability of this man to think beyond ideology and gathering more piles of money personally. He left office with the lowest rating of any vice-president in history. I do not for a second believe the American people hold him in any higher regard now than they did then. ONLY on Fauxnoise is this dirty little chicken hawk worth being heard. Which says as much about them as it does him. Would that he would just effing go away and stay there - the world is a better place without listen to the putrid lies that pass for speech that seep out of this man's teeny little brain.

Cheney is an idiot. Let's face it, the Republicans use any and every thing that happens as a excuse to whine about President Obama. The sky is blue, it's Obama's fault, it's raining, it's Obama's fault, etc. It's too bad we can't harness the Republican hot air to power America. At least, Obama does something.

But a powerful petty hypocrite who has not yet been arrested for his treason, his lies, his instrumental part in ok'ing US torture.

The failure of the Democrats to indict, arrest, and put to trial this man, is an ethical failure tantamount to their EACH being accessories to crimes against the US Consitution.
_Each, from current president, on down to every assent or silence on this man's crimes.

This man is very two-faced, he has lied about things, important issues, and thank God he is gone from the White House, he did America no favors, in fact he was a danger to our country. I wish he would just shut up and not speak poorly of President Obama, he really has no right to do so in view of his horrible antics while in office.

Cheney like all the other Chicken Hawks is full of squawks, he is hardly one who is qualified to make such comments when he was one of the main architects of the dipterous situation in Iraq. But accusing Dick Cheney of hypocrisy is easy as he seems to do it so often. In virtually every statement he has made has shown he was wrong in almost every prediction he made about Iraq yet whenever he is called out for how mistaken he was about Iraq in the first place, he piously lecture about his performance at the same time. whilst feeling perfectly free to trash the president in extreme and even vile terms. If he was remotely on the ball Bin Laden's head packed in dry ice would of been on Bush's desk rather than going on a multi trillion dollar vanity war against an abstract noun.

This Dick will say and do anything to keep oil prices high. Like Kissinger, he uses our country and people for profit, while skipping out on paying taxes. Mabus's right hand.

Best to do is pay no attention to cheney and his remarks on any subject.
cheney has become a pathological liar and without remorse since he left office.

"He and TeamBush invaded another nation, not under the guise of national defense, but purely for personal want and gain. An offensive war for plunder and profit that cost precious lives, innocent lives, and uncounted misery."

ty, Carrie.

I agree with Jim Phillips, we need to just ignore Cheney and Pallin, and Rush, let their notoriety die down and maybe they will disappear. If no one is listening there will be no point for them to talk. The media love all three though, so not much chance of that happening

The end of the article sums it up very nicely: "After all, punditry is hard during the dog days of summer — and overeager critics like Cheney are always ready for their closeups." Dick is missing the limelight and Faux Noise has given him the taste of it again, so he'll use any opportunity to get back into it. Sadly, the only story he has, is his very twisted and personal version of history.

Cheney is a sad, evil being that is trying to stay relevant. He gets out there and rewrites history, trying to act like we didn't see the major incompetence and criminal acts during that administration. He also probably feels the need to do this since his equally sad and evil offspring is looking for a political career. But most people are wise to the Cheney's. So he can continue criticizing Obama, Fox can air it, but the rest of us aren't buying what he's selling.

But realistically, would it have killed Obama to skip a round of Golf? Comparing Obama to Bush or Cheney is the wrong kind of comparison.

I think a more objective way would be to compare President Obama to Candidate Obama that we voted for.

Bush is hardly the yardstick by which other presidents should be measured!

I wish the MEDIA would quit interviewing Dick Cheney. He is an evil man given that he approves of torture. When the Iraq War started, Halliburton got a billion-dollar no-bid contract.....that's the company Cheney was getting his back-pay from...... . Cheney's Halliburton Made $39.5 Billion on Iraq War and so does anyone wonder why he was so anxious to invade Iraq that there were lies about WMDs ? Bush was his patsy... a nicer word than his-B#tch.

Cheney is a republican pawn being used to squawk, squawk and squawk. These oligarchs sound like a broken record because some stupid people actually start to believe what is said if you say it enough times - the old broken record routine. So it is up to us to respond to articles like this to repeat and repeat that these sore losers need to drift off into a one way trip to hell and leave us alone. Cheney is a graduate of the Hypocritical College of Universal Stupidity.

Talk is cheap It has never been determined that Dick Cheney is a liar. He had every right to criticize President Obama. Many of Obama's own democrats are criticizing him in the very same way.

President Obama is but a puppet in golf shoes lately. He doesn't appear interested in leading America. My question is "how does Obama live with himself?"

Dick Cheney isn't the president of the US. Obama is.
