Some of the actions that would be halted include new mileage standards for cars, new standards to combat the deaths and disease caused by soot, and new limits on carbon pollution. The government's ability to issue new standards to protect us would be...

The lunacy of some of our citizens, is astounding, when they vote against their own selfl-interest.

I shutter to think that part of this anti-Obama thought is born out of RACISM.
Many voters who helped elect him, in the first place, did it to prove(?) to themselves and/or others, that they _were not_ racists. Currently, they don't feel they have to do repeat that action.
Hense, the racism comes back into play.

The Tea Party Republican GOP is playing a dangerous game, and it IS a game. Since, we realize that they were in favor or healthcare for all, in the first place, and then against it, they are figthting with themselvesw.

In 2007, Republican Senator Jim DeMint of S. Carolina, sent a letter to then President Bush and said he would like to work with him to pass legislation that would have affordable, quality private health coverage, while protecting current goverment programs. ' We believe the health care system cannot be fixed without providing solutions for everyone. Otherwise, the costs of those without insurance will continue to be shifted to those who do have coverage.'

Signatories to the letter were Republican Sens. Robert Bennet, Mike Crapo, Trent Lott and John Thune, plus 5 Democratic senators.
However, it's Mr. DeMint's involvment that seems, in retrospect, most remarkable.

Da lernst du dann alles was wichtig ist.

Viel Erfolg,

I sent one to Dubious Rubio and Clueless Rooney here in FL. They are both Repugnant ideopaths. I'll eventually get some mindless drivel response from each of their staffers and I'll write something scathing back admonishing them for their stupidity. It's a game we play, but they need to hear it.

Signed. But how people who have sign really, truly think their petition will top payments to Congressional Reps who make the laws to facilitate and support corporate profits?
