These are the same greed-driven interests that take advantage of weak or non-existent regulations to pollute our air and water, exploit workers, peddle toxic food and products that sicken and kill consumers, and pursue short-term profits at the expense..

Thanks! I gladly signed!
I tried to start a new Care2 group because my post on a former group of mine was removed because it was not a petition. I was asking people to talk about companies that do good. Most of us sign petitions and boycott, but we rarely have a chance to give credit and promote good companies. Sometimes petitions work and some times boycotts work, but many times we get ignored. So I tried to start a group, but right now I guess Care2 is not allowing new groups. So I started a website. I am not looking for profit (not that I couldn't use the money). I am doing for my moral reasons and looking to make the world a little better. Feel free to check it out and post comments! I know it needs work, but I did it just today in a matter of minutes! The concept is you can get a horse to move two ways. You can either beat it with a stick or you can give it a carrot. I think our petitions and boycotts are the stick and it is not working enough in my opinion and I would like to see if we can get enough people involved to try the carrot approach?

I know that many people are adamantly opposed to government regulation, but THIS is the alternative: unbridled, unregulated GREED! Think "CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU" and how Wall Street Bankers paid their Republican lap dogs to stop its creation. Think of how they managed to keep Elizabeth Warren from being appointed to head it.

Action gladly taken! Thanks, Nancy!

I feel a sarcasm coming on.....danger zone.

If it weren't for the snooping public, (you and me) they could even extract the gold from their victims teeth! Let's see now, how much gold would that be?

They sure as fRAcking can't. -------------------------------

Just a thought
Don't companies pay their supervisors:

We have to supervise them and we haven't
been paid a cent for our hours of dedicated
service. Let's sue!

The problem is that the current government is even less trustworthy than the corporations. Down with the libtards!
