Signed in support of President Obama. I already get many emails from his offices, and campaign. This is a time to increase taxation and reduce spending. If only we would reduce spending on the Pentagon and weapons development.

Sending a Green Star is a simple way to say "Thank you"
You cannot currently send a star to Nancy because you have done so within the last week.

The math shows that the defense budget can easily absorb all the cuts proposed to other segments of the budget and that the other cuts would result in more job losses than the defense cuts.

Why not give tax cuts only to those middle class who have been unemployed for more than a year after they find work again. All this talk about tax cuts is BS cause I see that ALL people want government to give them as much as possible while Gov't demanding as little as possible from them. Collecting less taxes than you need to solve problems is the choice American's make when they don't want to pay taxes but want the government to solve an oil spill problem or come to the rescue in a drought or fire or tornado or hurricane.
Some of America's super-rich have been able to whittle their tax bill down even more, paying a tax rate as low as one percent, according to Bloomberg. But billionaires aren't the only ones that use loopholes to pay lower taxes. Thirty of America's most profitable corporations used rules like the "active financing exception" -- allowing corporations to sidestep paying taxes on overseas profits if they were derived by "actively financing" some activity or deal -- to pay less than zero in income taxes, according to a recent report from the Center for Tax Justice
Small businesses get a whole lot of tax breaks. All these TAX BREAKS have created our deficit along with the wars--
