Which organic brands really believe in organic--and which are working behind the scenes to betray natural health consumers? It's time for a boycott. Action Alert!

Coke should be boycotted because they hire death squads to keep the workers down all around the world. As for what soda I drink, Blue Sky is my brand.

Just tried to submit this, but you beat me to it, Nancy! I am extremely disappointed in the brands that promote themselves as healthy and natural, but contain GMO's and/or are owned by evil companies!

For most any Big Business corporation, suggesting that they are 'green' or 'organic' is absurd on its face.
The chemicals they use in their products, makes for cost efficiency and faster production.

Besides the fact, that pop/soda drinks are horrendously bad for our health, including stroke risk.

Ahhhh, thanks Nancy....with only a few 'good guys' out there, it cuts down on decision making at the store.
We try very hard to buy only at Vitamin Cottage/Natural Grocers anyway.....but I think some of these labels are now, more label reading!
Children deserve real food for their young growing bodies, and we try hard to eat well. My granddaughters are 13 and 10, take ballet and tap, are slender, in great shape, have clear skin, thick gorgeous hair, are at the very top of their classes academically, and have lots of artistic interests and talents too. We have dogs and cats we also try to feed good food, and the difference between them and other children (and pets) is very apparent. Organic makes you beautiful...inside and out!
Minds can't think when chemicals are poisoning the brain....studies have proven so. Attention declines and independent thought is difficult, bodies become sluggish, and depression starts to rear its ugly head....junk food makes kids slow, overweight, depressed, uninterested. My daughter is a teacher and she can see the difference immediately when kids are given a real orange, peach, apple, carrot stick, seeds, compared to an empty calorie junky snack.
Organic is the real way of life on our planet....with all its imperfections and dirt and good germs!

Signed with the following comment.
We have the right to know what is in our food. Companies who pay millions in bribes to stop this from happening have something to hide, How can one ever trust those companies again.

I was surprised to find out some of my favorite brands are owned by companies who want to screw us all over. It seems I forgot to do my homework. I will be making some immediate changes in diet so I can support companies who are sincere in their desire to give people what they want: Organic, non-GMO food.

I hate Coca Cola, it is a terrible drink and a terrible company! They are no more organic than plastic bags and they are poisoning our planet in more ways than one, with their shocking misuse of our precious spring water supplies around the world and their contribution to the whole bottled water industry that is polluting our land fill. Nothing good or organic there at all really! Things certainly don't go better with Coke!

it's tragic the way corporations cannibalize other companies and turn their products into trash produced by suffering and destruction

Crap...there goes the cat food. Mars makes Wiskas. A very limited income makes selection incredibly hard. I will do what I can and though I may not be able to find GMO free items to buy...I can certainly try to avoid those companies who are in direct opposition. I just hope my cat accepts a new brand. Like I said...I'll try.

However, I must add a thought here. Added labeling will also mean added cost. You know and I know this to be true. They will pass that along to us in a heart beat. With this drought in place, we are already set up for a world of hurt. Life is becoming very very scary.
