The way we see it, the inauguration ought to celebrate the best of American democracy -- not act as a misleading marketing plug for the bottled water industry. But apparently, that's not what the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies...

You all know that Congress has a 10% approval rating. And they don't care because most people don't care. Step up to the plate and sign these kinds of petitions. Lets get caring and concerned people in Congress. Make an effort to learn who is running and don't vote Republican because that is what you were raised as. Or Democrat. Learn and vote wisely.

I strongly urge everyone to sign on for this and sign the petition...we shall then see if the people we pay to do our bidding actually do. It is a small thing to be certain, however, it may tell us quite a bit about whether or not we have any influence at all.

Thank you for stepping up to demand a bottled water free presidential inauguration!

With the storm of media coverage the committee is facing, itís clear that now is our moment. But the committee needs to hear from thousands of us. Thatís how weíll get our national leadership to stand for the tap and not use this occasion to plug the bottled water industryís misleading marketing.
