climate change is here, its real and very dangerous....the time to have acted was decades ago, but we can still try ---- reduce, reuse, recycle, compost, care2, offset, plant trees....or imagine what the world of the next generation will be like....

With food prices predicted to be 5% higher in the spring more folks are becoming aware of what farmers have been saying for years. The old norms in weather no longer apply. We have to change the way we live and do business if we are going to adapt and preserve what's left of our natural environment.

This was predicted due to global warming which was being caused by man made greenhouse gasses. in the 1970s in Scientific American. If we were flexible, intelligent beings who would see to the common good instead of our personal vested interests, we could have started mitigating global warming 40 years ago and we would not be facing this disruption of nature now. If you conflate all the losses of the farmers, I'm sure that they would probably equal the losses of the coal and oil barons if they had been clever enough to invest in renewable, clean energy then. By now they would be making a big profit from it and the rest of the world would be calling them saviors!
