Thanks for this Nancy - signed with pleasure. Odd though - I am on Sum of Us' email list - haven't had anything direct - ah well, this saved them the trouble! I hope they succeed - Walmart must not be allowed to carry on with imposing near slave conditions on their workers.

Sam Walton was an evil old man and his legacy lives on. I have never seen the inside of a Walmart and I never will!

When we were hard up and lived in a town where Walmart was just one of the few chains...and there was only one local store left, we shopped at the local store. But it was small and just didn't carry enough items. So, we wound up at the evil empire more often than I care to think. But now that we live in a city, who needs Wal-mart? Between the farmers' markets and our local co-op, we get everything we need. We're still hard up, but willing to live on less rather than shop at any place that denies workers the right to collective bargaining, fair wages to workers around the world, and a toxic mindset of remoreseless production and consumption. Noted. Signed.
