It's time to support Walmart workers who are fighting for an economy that works for all of us - let's support their strike this Black Friday by not crossing the picket line.

Signed, TU Nancy. I have never shopped on Black Friday and never will...and pretty much boycott Wally's all the time anyway (except for a few items that are much more expensive and/or hard to find elsewhere close by).

It won't take me time to think about this - I already boycott Wal-Mart for their Chinese outsourcing and cruel underpayment of workers in this country..

As a proud Union Member, I never, ever have set foot in a Wal-Mart, plus throw in all the other stuff they do, and the way they treat their employees...Wal-Mart, is a scab store in my view...

Signed but please note that Mal-Wart isn't the only one. All the big stores and many small ones are playing the same rotten game. The answer is so not shop anywhere on Black friday, especially on those "early" BF hours!

Ty Nancy. This is SLAVE LABOR.

Signed ~ We NEVER shop Walmart--.that is Corpoville gone nuts And please stay away from all other BIG BOXERS unless absolutely necessary. . .at least do some research and stay away from the worst of the bunch. NOTE: Walmart, Home Depot, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, Lowes, K-Mart, Sam's Club, et al have wiped out ALL of our favorite local retailers. Some who had been here for over 8 decades. Stationers, small machine repair, lawn & garden, bicycle shop, sports shop, neighborhood grocers, drug and fountain stores, family owned pharmacies, hardware stores [some almost 100 years old], independent gas stations, clothing shops, diners, and my favorite the BUTTON STORE [my favorite it had every type of button you could imagine from all over the world and if yours wasn't there the owner would find it! NOW GONE after 85 years!!] Just sick to my stomach, hurt and furious!] The fabric of our community has been RIPPED OUT and replaced by BIG BOXERS. THAT IS NOT A FREE MARKET ECONOMY!!! NO MORE TOP-FEEDER AUSTRIAN SCHOOL ECONOMIC NONSENSE--it is a fantasy freak show. Hayek, von Mises, et al thought of economics as an adventure where social justice was not an important matter. This is not Adam Smith's capitalism at ALL...but exactly what he forewarned of as the potential dangers of capitalism.

respect and dignity and to be paid a fair
wage for his or her delivery of services

I feel like I'm cheating by signing this pledge, since I never shop on Black Friday anymore.

As a little extra added bonus, I'm not planning on shopping on Cyber Monday, either. (Monday, November 26, 2012)

While we're signing petitions, why not save Thanksgiving for Target employees?

This is an easy one for me.
I don't shop Wal~Mart and I don't shop Black Friday.
In fact, I don't shop Wal~Mart the other 364 days of the year.
What's the name of that store, again?

Sometimes, MORALS must trump low prices.
Besides, with the addition of new low discount grocers, it's a piece of cake to go elsewhere.

Noted, but unable to sign as not US resident. I noticed here in Alberta, Canada that there are a lot of stores celebrating the Black Friday. (our Thanksgiving is in Oct.)I will not shop any of these kind of sales, as I have seen people get into fights to park, and people pushed to the floors in the rush.It just ruins any holiday.

Couldn't sign this petition - but have signed several other international ones - hooray for the workers rebelling against WalMarts vile practices that they even boast about!
