Unfortunately, this label is not about to happen, but it should. Why? Because right now food manufacturers can put whatever mutant food they want in your grocery stores -- without labeling.

Another try at solving the population problem, huh?

I do notice many companies have begun putting labels on their foods telling us they haven't been poisoned

Course, when it come between making money and telling the truth!!!

In fairness that is the least they can do. I think? that things will be forced to be changed as the public at large begins to learn about the relationship of the state and contents of foods do affect health and major diseases and chronic health issues. Until then, we wait and suffer.

Noted. Thanks, Nancy. I want my food labeled, too. For those companies who are doing this voluntarily, the consumer will have the last word. With all the social networking and tools we have at our disposal now, labeled food will go flying off the shelves.

I strongly agree that we need GMO labels - but I also want my food to be free of a lot of other junk!

In Europe, you have to label it in almost this exact way.

We need labels for GMOs and also the synthetic flavorings they use, explaining what they are and how they will affect us long term.

We have the right to know what we are putting into our bodies. We have the right to choose, isn't it a free country?

Unfortunately, I don't think we live in a "free" country anymore. As women, they want to take away our rights to choose what is best for our own bodies, so many of our rights have been infringed upon as Americans, looks like we don't get to decide if something is good or bad regarding our food. This is very disturbing. Thanks for the info Nancy.

AS long as the FDA remains corrupt and is never held accountable for failing to protect the American people, we will continue to have dangerous drugs and GMO ingredients in food on the market. The FDA is the guard dogs for big pharma. check out my petition against the FDA
