If Congress fails to act before the end of the year, every American family's taxes will automatically go up. A typical middle-class family of four would see its taxes rise by $2,200 starting in 2013.

This might be the only way to get the top 2% to pay more in taxes. If everyone pays higher when the Bush tax cut expire then they can go tweak it to have the under $250,000 pay less. That way it would be a tax cut for those in the lesser incomes and retain the taxes for those at the top.

I would prfer to see the Bus era tax cits expire for evryone. That way it's fair and gets all classes. The republicans are on to something by going after loopholes and special interest deductions in the tax code.

We already work until June to pay all the taxes now.

All of Washington should be standing up for the workers who do the work, that makes the money, that trickles Up. Check the surveys U.S.A. lags behind many countries in many areas. It's time to give back to those who historically have paid for the things that "make us great". Support your own citizens! It's All of your jobs, every elected one of you!
