I'm not in the U.S., and am not willing to lie on this petition to sign, but I really wish you luck! Anything the U.S. does affects us in the Great White North: GM pollen doesn't have to check in with Customs at the border.

Monsanto seems to think they have enough money and clout to influence the lawmakers, and to heck with the people -- it's time to show them they're wrong!

Write, email, or phone your Congressman, too -- make sure that the lobbyists voices aren't the only ones they hear. One Congressman said that when he gets one letter from a constituent, he figures that a couple of thousand feel the same way, but haven't bothered to contact him.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say Monsanto may well be the most dangerous corporation there is in terms of potential (and present) damage to world food supplies, agricultural independence, and the environment.
