Apple and pear trees are the only exception to the prohibition on antibiotics in organic production, and that loophole must be closed. Other countries, including Canada and Japan, and the European Union, do not permit its use in organic fruit production.

Absolutely. The focus has been much more on livestock and not enough information has been out there about the use of antibiotics for Fire Blight in fruits.
