It has never made any sense to me why the animals are over-dosed on antibiotics with little to no supervision--it used to be that doctors prescribed antibiotics!

VIP info We spread disease to animals also. then back to us. Yet there are non believers those in wonderland thinking this not possible. Be careful with what you handle especially if you have even a minute cut/opening..

Use of cephalosporins is being curtailed, while use of penicillin and tetracycline are on the rise? As someone who is allergic to penicillin, this makes me wonder about consuming meat from animals treated with it. Luckly, I'm a vegetarian, so I don't really have to worry!

Oh dear! Anti-biotics need to be treated with caution, and not handed out like sweeties! However, as patients, we should not be putting pressure on doctors to prescribe them; as employers we should not be putting employees under pressure to put pressure on their doctors to prescribe them, nor should we be putting pressure on employees to turn up at work when they are not well enough to!
