Very interesting...i wonder if women will embrace this idea though. I've seen these and they are rather odd and a challenge to actually place properly. I hope it takes off!!! Thx Nancy.

I read The Power of Female Condoms in Mozambique. I think women who dare there, especially, are very brave. The woman doesn't always have the "right" to control whether or not she becomes pregnant or has sex. To me, that is truly daring. --- That is the email I sent. Thank you Nancy, for this story.

It's been years since we tried the female condom. They are simply awful. Perhaps they have changed.

Thanks for posting Nancy and for sharing Lynn. Anything to help women and girls get out from under the burden and fear of unwanted pregnancies or disease is a blessing.

Green star Natasha - I have only seen these on tv - but I have heard they are rather difficult. I do hope they work though - perhaps they are the 'new and improved' version!
