In an interview with Newsmax, King slandered young immigrants who would be eligible for citizenship under the DREAM Act stating that "For everyone who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they've got calves the size

Signed and Noted..... This is one of those moments I just can't even believe someone said something so incredibly asinine.
"For everyone who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert."

Seriously?!? Why is it men like this are always use stereotypes about everyone? They are either "sinner or saint" "mother or whore"...I wonder if it has occurred to him that most immigrants are just desperate for a chance at a better life. Period. That desperation and fear of the lawless druglord ruled country that Mexico has become is what pushes people to risk their lives to illegally cross. I have yet to meet a drug dealing illegal immigrant. The immigrants without papers I have met, want what most of us want, to have a chance at a decent life. Their "crime" is simply the geography of their birth.

I wonder if Steve King has ever taken a moment out of his day to imagine himself born on the other side of the border. Would he simply accept his lot in life? Or would he yearn and be willing to risk it all for a chance at something better?

Signed. He obviously has not interest in immigration reform and would rather succumb to alarmist, nationailism and protectionism and take stereotypes and half-truths as the whole gospel truth.

Evidently Steve King isn't the brightest bulb on the string and doesn't belong on the Immigration Subcommittee. Gladly signed and noted.

How on earth did this loud-mouthed, racist fool get on the Immigration Subcommittee? I'd like to wipe that smarmy smile off his face too! Why would anyone vote for him (but, I say THAT all the time, about one politician or another)?
Signed and shared--thanks Nancy.
