You Won't Believe What Rush Limbaugh's Bosses Just Did ACTION

We cannot let a media corporation get between a woman and her right to critical health information. If thousands of us speak out quickly, we can help generate a national media firestorm and Clear Channel will be forced to respond.

Zip codes only, can't sign.

Butin any event, Clear Channel is specifically a propaganda tool, and I doubt they'll start running the women's health clinic ads again anyway - that would be like admitting that women's health mattered...

Clear channel has no obligation to run any ads they don't want to. Why is it anyone elses business to try and force them to run these ads? Surely women can get this information from some source other than Clear Channel. And putting Rush Limbaugh's name in the title is a rather disingenuous way to call attention to the petition, as he does not dictate their policy.

In the same way that fascists always manage to conscript the word freedom into their titles, so too does Clear Channel obfuscate it's true intent. Clear would seem to imply an open, honest and straightforward presentation of events when in truth they do nothing of the kind, everything is shaped to and by their ideology. Disgusting people.

Signed in disgust. Of course I have been boycotting Clear Channel for so long, they are probably accustomed to it. The ads in question were significanlty inoffensive, unlike some similar male enhancement products. I do wonder if perhaps some of their recent losses have failed to awaken them to what I fervently hope is the changing tide. Here, at least the lunatics continue to rant and to run the asylum.

When my comment topped 1,000 words I realized that I was ranting incoherently and was getting pretty obscene about it too, so I decided it was probably best to just delete it and let my signature say it all.

They just violated the 1st amendment. When the men of this nation (I know not all of them, but the rest) get their heads out of their rears and realize that the right to good safe medicine and healthcare does not belong in the hands of them,. It belongs in the hands of the woman. I guess that we should butt into the vasectomy treatment for them. Wonder how they'd like that. Butt out men. Clear wake up and smell the roses. Women have rights and the 1st amendment guarantees that be it written or on tv.

I don't personally see anything wrong with the wording from the ads. But if the corporation doesn't want to run them, that's its right. Were this a government entity trying to ban information about abortion (which is obviously what's being indirectly referred to in some of the ad's wording) that would be wrong. But a business has the right not to promote things it doesn't want to.

Just as Clear Channel has every right to not run an ad, we have every right to sign petitions and boycott them and the companies that run ads on their channels. Petition signed with hope.

Thanks signed and noted and BTW for those who think Clear channel doesn't have an obligation to run these ads you need to understand that they are a publicly licensed entity and as such have a legal responsibility to serve the community

Gary A L, the fact that Clear Channel is a "publicly licensed entity" doesn't mean it has any legal obligation to run every piece of advertising that any group wishes it to. It can fulfill its public service commitment in a great variety of ways.

In the great circle jerk that is Conservative talk radio the whole anti-woman agenda is based on fear and the fact that to them everything is fine on the business side. Everything is cool. Not a single thing to worry about as he continues to spew all that negative hate speech shows he he caught in feedback loop and will one day explode due to colonic blow back and he may take out a city block.

So Clear Channel has decided that "straightforward promotions of available health care for women" are offensive --yet Rush Limbaugh's foul, bullying, bigoted, misogynistic and hate-driven babble isn't? It's obvious that "Clear Channel" isn't run by clear-thinking people!
