USDA organic means nothing. Look elsewhere for meaningful certification. Know your farmer! Do not waste your time with any of these government agencies. Turn your back on them and figure things out for yourself.

Just like raw milk - we have to commit civil disobedience like Rosa Parks so that they get the message that we are not going to stand for this kind of crap.

"No eggs is better." Only if one is vegan, the rest of us often do eat eggs. Of course. give Monsanto fifty more years and all the natural veggies and fruits will be cross contaminated from GMO seeds, even though organic farmers don't want anything to do with Monsanto. The company then goes after organic farmers when their fields have been contaminated by Monsanto's seeds of destruction.

I don't live in the States and find eggs at small farms where there are not many hens and they run around outside all day, they don't any GMO feed either.

That should have been they don't use any GMO feed either nor do they use growth hormones or antibiotics.

I made a mistake in flagging Nancy's post.
I apologize for my error. Thanks for checking the zip codes, Nancy. I live in Berkeley and have friends with chickens.

Chickens are not slaves if they live on a small farm, go outdoors and spend the day in the sunshine and do whatever they feel like it, are feed good and natural food, get plenty of water and basically enjoy life. They don't worry if one eats their eggs either, no reaction when the eggs are collected every day.
