When President Obama meets Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in the White House on Monday, their conversation will no doubt focus on two issues that are central to the Obama Administration's foreign policy agenda: Iran and Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts

I have no intention of signing this farce. Kerry is a skull & bones man just like his cousin GW Bush. Iran is outplaying the Americans and has no intention of slowing down. Secondly, how can you have peace with a people that have sworn to eradicate you and push you into the sea? Billions upon billions of dollars and Euros have been given to the Arab expatriates commonly called Palestinians. They have not built a nation; created a viable infrastructure or actively sought peace on an equitable footing with Israel. Their only expense is munitions and armaments to make themselves appear mighty and to line the pockets of their upper echelon elites who BTW have nice villas, Mercedes and swimming pools unlike the rank and file who live in squalor.
The only reason the Europeans keep giving and sticking their heads in the sand is because they're scared of their own Arab populations. The US don't want to offend their Euro partners so they acquiesce. If it hadn't been for Gen. Haig skirting Cap Weinberger and his anti Israel group during the Six Day War, the Middle East would certainly have looked different than it does today.

When the two met during Obama's first term, Obama was ill prepared, and the Prime Minister ate Obama up. Let's see what happens.

US Aid to Israel

Recently APN called on the Obama Administration to start playing hardball in its Middle East peace efforts. APN believes that playing hardball should not and must not mean taking steps that threaten Israel's security. To the contrary: the US must assure Israel that America and the international community are unequivocally committed to maintaining Israel's security. Indeed, absolute confidence in US support for Israel's security will be essential to give Israelis the confidence necessary to take the risks inherent in any future peace agreement. APN thus categorically opposes calls for the US to cut or threaten to cut military aid to Israel.

APN weighs all activism in light of our primary mission and concern: preserving Israel's future and its security and viability as a democracy and a Jewish state. From this mission, we, as a Jewish, Zionist organization, derive our conviction that settlement expansion must stop, the settlement enterprise must be rolled back, and the occupation must end - for the sake of Israel's own security and its own future

Consistent with this mission, APN has long opposed, and continues to oppose, boycott, divestment, and sanctions efforts targeting Israel. We believe such campaigns are misguided and counterproductive. They target the average, innocent Israeli citizen -- who may well support an end to the occupation and a two-state solution -- rather than the Israeli government policies that are ostensibly the target of the campaigns. They have caused many Israelis and supporters of Israel -- people whose voices are vitally needed to oppose the policies that such campaigns target -- to feel compelled to defend Israel, regardless of the policies in question.

"APN weighs in on BDS, CRITICISM OF Israel"

The notion that Israel's best defense is a good offense -- that supporters of Israel are better off attacking Israel's critics and blindly defending Israeli behavior, rather than taking an honest look at Israel's policies and actions -- should trouble anyone who cares about the character of Israel's society and Israel's democracy.

peace now, as well as truah and j street do not support an end to US aid to Israel......
US AID AND ARMS TO ISRAEL (BILLIONS)HAS FUNDED FOR ALMOST 7 DECADES THE ILLEGAL OCCUPATION BY ISRAEL OF PALESTINE.
IT ROBS PALESTNIANS AND IT ROBS AMERICAN CITIZENS. IT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISPLACEMENT AND DEATHS OF THOUSANDS, INCLUDING CHILDREN - EVERY DAY THIS IMPACT IS FELT ACROSS THE WEST BANK, GAZA AND WITHIN ISRAEL, DUE TO THE ONGOING HARASSMENT AND AGGRESSION OF ISRAELI FORCES.

THE FOCUS ON THE SETTLEMENTS IS IMPORTANT, AND PUTS THE FOCUS ON ISRAEL'S ILLEGAL OCCUPATION, BUT DOES NOT ADDRESS THE MEANS THE ISRAELI LOBBY/AIPAC AND OTHER 'PRO-ISRAEL' ENTITIES USE TO EXTRACT BILLIONS EVERY YEAR FROM AMERICA AT THE EXPENSEOF AMERICANS!!!!!!
THIS IS MONEY USED TO DELIGITIMIZE, MARGINALIZE AND DISPOSSESS PALESTNIANS IN THE OCCUPIED 'TERRITORIES', PALESTINE,AND WITHIN ISRAEL ITSELF - AND AT THE EXPENSE OF American FAMILIES AND AMERICA!
THE SUBSIDIZING OF ISRAEL FOR HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IS DESPICABLE AND THE QUICKER AMERICANS CATCH ON, HOPEFULLY THE QUICKER ALL US AID TO ISRAEL WILL END.

AMERICA MUST STOP ENABLING ISRAEL AND ANY/ALL ENTITIES, ZIONIST/'PRO-ISRAEL'
ENTITIES THAT TRY TO MANIPULATE AMERICANS INTO BELIEVING THAT ISRAEL 'NEEDS' AMERICAN BILLIONS FOR 'SECURITY'.

THIS IS A BLATANT DISTORTION OF THE FACTS FOR ALMOST 7 DECADES AND CONTINUES TO DEMONSTRATE THE SAME BRAZEN DISREGARD FOR PALESTNIANS, AND THE CONTINUOUS EXPLOITATION OF AMERICA FOR ISRAELI SELF INTEREST, ONLY.

In my opinion, the Jewish people have a greater right to the land than do the Palestinians. That said, I do wish they would go about making their claim a little more peacefully--unfortunately, I fear it's far too late for that now.

In March 2013, the US CAMPAIGN (TO END THE OCCUPATION) partnered with VISUALIZING PALESTINE to launch a series of ads to end U.S. military aid to Israel.
The ads, which were timed to coincide with AIPAC's annual policy conference, ran as a mobile truck ad and on Washington, D.C. Metro train platforms.

US aid has allowed the Israeli government to be intransigent. If instead of using force all the money they have spent had gone on building up the economy and the lives of all the people especially the Palestinians peace and prosperity would have come long ago to the area. Instead arms and the usual human response of force and punishment has protracted the problem. It is a cause for sadness and weeping except for the arms industry.

You want Obama to suddenly grow a spine? He should have started long ago with a lot of countries other than Israel. Odd choice of words for title, as standing firm with someone usually means supporting them. Not signed.
