Messages all sent. Noted. (Not that my warmongering Sen's will care, but at least they know how THIS constituent feels). Thanks, Nancy. Why is there a bottomless hole of money always for war, but never an extra dollar for those in need, or education, infrastructure......

Our infrastructure is crumbling, our children are starving, and we're investing in useless wars overseas? This nation is headed straight for a serious meltdown - and it ain't gonna be pretty.

we need to stay out all sides are evil. how many times does obama have to hear that before he listens?
why not spend that money on sealing our boarder, fixing things here or helping our own people? nope obama prefers to help terrorists and illegals before americans.

@ Billie C --- The Republicanus/Teabaggers would be have the country at war in a heartbeat, not just Mr Obama. After all, it is companies like Chickenhawk Cheney's Halliburton, or the former Blackwater that reap their profits from such plans. Don't go attacking Mr Obama without giving the Republicanus/Teabaggers an equal dose of your sharp tongue.

Need a US address :^(
When will they learn that funding fighters - the "good guys" at the time of funding - has a way of backlashing?
Bin Laden/Al Qaeda started this way, against the USSR invasion in Afghanistan .....

What a total waste of taxpayer's money! There are no " good guys " in this conflict. They're all nuts.
Thanks Nancy.

We should be spending the money here at home to repair our crumbling infrastructure. And if Congress keeps demanding more arms and money for Syria, tell them to pay for it by raising taxes on the richest 1%. And they should dig into their own bank accounts instead of using MY tax dollars for all their pet projects, like lawyers to defend DOMA and more lawyers to sue MY president. (Because we all know, don’t we, that that’s EXACTLY what the lawyers’ fees on that last one are going to be paid with—OUR tax dollars?)

We learned nothing at all did we? We rolled into Afghanistan; nailed bin Laden at Tora Bora back in 02/2002 and we should have gotten out rather than staying. We should never have been in Iraq at all. We should never have been involved in the Arab Spring and we certainly shouldn't have been financing Syrian fighters who morphed into ISIS/ISIL. The only people who are profiting are the financial backers who play both sides against the other; the arms manufacturers and the corporations who through the IMF austerity economics gain a further stranglehold on the planet when these nations after everything is said and done start to rebuild. The Russian and US politicos can sing and dance and joust with each other in order to formulate and perpetuate the smoke screen necessary for the puppet masters to manipulate us all for their benefit.

This has got to stop. We need to stop aiding anyone and everyone especially those we know are our enemies. They are taking our money with one hand and stabbing us in the back with the other. Our so-called president should stop all the aid. Doesn't anyone remember "Charity begins at home" and God knows we need to take care of us before them.

Michael Kirkby's comment right on target. We can find billions for wars and destruction but always broke when it comes to education and building bridges. I'm disgusted with the majority of them in DC.

The only interests troops and money serve in any foreign country are for private profits. Save lives and apply the funding to pressing issues at home.
