Another important step in the diagnosis if Alzheimer. Too bad it didn't explain how the tests were done, if they are invasive or easy to do, and if they were useful in early diagnosis. I guess the latter is not the case as Alzheimer has to have been present for quite a while before plaque is visible on for instance MRI cans.

Fantastic. Might help lead to a definite diagnosis of Alzheimer's without having to autopsy the brain.

Diagnosis is good - to prepare oneself and family. But how about treatment - anything that could stave off symptoms for a long time?

I need this test done!! My Mom had Alzheimer's and I want to know if I am going to get it so I can start treatment early!!
