Ten years after the November 1998 state tobacco settlement, Alaska ranks No. 1 in the nation in funding programs to protect kids from tobacco, according to a national report released today by a coalition of public health organizations.

Well.. Way to Go Alaska! Protecting Children is Great. Now Think about protecting Animals They are like Children. Can't defend their self either!

* Obama is going to nominate the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids' William Corr as deputy director of the Department of Health and Human Services. Good move.
