Here's something else that needs to be forwarded far and wide! It lays it all out point for point. Remember Eisenhower's farewell address? He warned about war-oriented, military industrialists gaining unwarranted power. Well, they did, they have, and they rae running the show. We're bombing civilians in Libya, folks, like always. Hospitals, schools...When America shows up, the place goes to Hell - literally and immediately!
The truth in this article is obvious and undeniable. The oligarchs may close down the government for a while. It'll shut a lot of us up when we lose our homes, the Internet and everything else. Everyone like me, on a VA pension or SSDI, for instance sudden;y can't pay even part of the mortgage, or rent, or food or whatever. AS for me, I'll be either in the hospital or dead because I won't be able to pay for my meds.Or for electricity.Or to see my doc, which the DEA require in order for him to prescribe for me. And I'm just one of tens of millions.

Anyway, read this and please, pass it on!

@ Ian MacLeon,
Ian,your link isn't live,I could only link to it because I am tracking this blog. The email I got from tracking is live, but if one is only on this for the moment they won't be able to go to the blog of the author Stephen Lendman. Try re-posting it! But I guess if they are that interested in it they could copy and paste it in the url. Whatever works, just as long as people can see this info. Thanks "RJM"

Randy - No, I've never figured out how to make it a "live" link. It's easy enough, as you point out, to cut and paste it into the address bar though. It's really well-written, no histrionics, just facts, but oh, they are damning!

If you go up to the URL of the web-site,blog and right click in it then choose "Copy" and where ever you want to post it Right click again and choose "Paste" and it should stick.I will try it for you and see if I can post it:

It should have worked, but unless Care2 won't allow it for some reason;I think they have the discretion to block it for their own reasons and it's beyond me. Anyway, all one has to do is copy the link and paste it in their URL browser and it will connect . You did it right because if it didn't work for me either, then it is out of our control and we are left dumbfounded!!! :~C "RJM"

"It is inevitable that we face a shut-down due the irresponsibility of our Gov't leaders! What's next Armageddon?"

If the Republicans or their masters decide it's profitable. They've been playing the blackmail game: "Give us EVERYTHING we want or we'll shut it all down no matter how many get hurt, no matter who it kills, and we'll shout it to the world that it's YOUR FAULT!" I don't know if the Democrats cave or if they're just playing the same game, trying to look like "the other side." It doesn't matter; the damage is the same, and we're the counters, the game pieces.

And THEY are traitors.

They've been refusing to negotiate in good faith since Bush Jr. They demand that ALL their little points are agreed to, or they'll just steal it all somehow. Or screw it all up for everyone. No negotiation. Remember? It's the same now. They're NOT doing their jobs; they're "Playing the game to win." If ANY of those participating in this are still holding office after the next election (and there should be recalls for those not up for reelection!), then America is just to stupid to live. And it WON'T.
