This made me mad. And who is his giggly wingman. "Puttin a postive role model behind bars for no reason, over a dog fight, c'mon......" Portis says. "It's his property, his dogs.""People should mind their business."

IT IS MY BUSINESS TO do anything I can to help stop dog fighting! According to the latest estimates only 20,000 to 40,000 people think it is ok to fight dogs, out of almost 300 million in the US. That should tell this psycho whose business this is.

I USED to like Portis but his comments nad general behavior have really proven that he is just another over paid jerk. Same with Samuels.

There is one football player I can think of who is above and beyond all this garbage...............Franco Harris!
I have not heard a thing about him for a long time...........I'm certain he is doing something positive & constructive for kids.......Vick, O.J., Magic Johnson sure could and should take lessons from this mans' life!!

After 6+ year sof the Bu$h!t administration, we should all be quite familiar with this "straw man" argument ... Michael Vick has been caught, he's been found guilty and he will be sentenced and punished.

Gambling of any kind is not allowed for any player in the NFL; if the Falcons put him back on their team, we'll boycott all their games until Vick is removed.

These guys need to read The Beloved Dog. They have no idea what complicated beings they are misusing. Property he calls dogs. So were women and children once as well as slaves. Are we to mistreat animals just because they are property??? I am incapable of understanding this reasoning. This society says it is illegal to mistreat animals. The law is the law. Are celebrities above the law? His property, huh! Nothing on this earth belongs to us. It is all loned to us for a short time. Respect it all or be known as a souless moron.

Clinton who?....I wonder if he'd say the same thing if it were his mamma or sister that had been abused by Michael Vick....just another example of how little brains it takes for some of these overpaid jocks to get some airtime.....

You all do need to mind you own businesses, and worry about your own souls. He has already confessed, asking for forgiveness etc. so stop judging. Until you are perfected, then talk, but right now shush!! Sorry if you don't like it, but thats just the way it is.

No! This is a case of deliberate intent to hurt, maime and kill! No, this man knew right from wrong because he evidently knew the difference between right and wrong or he would not have tried to keep it a deep dark secrete.............I too would stand AND apologize to please even the devil if it ment me making millions more of what I already had and rolled in...........After all I would have earned it all with not a shread of brains, it was all braun.

No, we will not stop because impressional young children and teenagers need a someone who shows them the way with moral character, decency and respect for all life forms......................

Noooooooo.........That is not the way it is for most of us. Not all of us are perfect but when you get caught this is the way it is!!!!!!!!!

This isn't about church. This is about common sense! But since you think we need to worry about our own souls-in your judgment:

"How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered?
Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished." Jeremiah 12:4

10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Tanya, this isn't about race either. (Believe me it isn't!)

It's the attitude that kills, so much of this is passed on to children who in turn grow up and kill each other.

Spoken like a true ignoramus, and his "gigling side-kick dunce". Just because they are high salaried, doesn't mean they have any brains. Positive role model? In what planet?

Well...he is showing his mentality...criminal in nature...I am so disappointed, but guess I shouldn't be surprised...maybe we should take one of his animals or better yet one of his relatives and abuse them....let's see if it's so disregarded then...

I have seen others say the exact same thing in the local news. There were reporters in sports shops asking owners if they would continue to carry Vick stuff....most said no...when they asked customers questions a few said the same as these nuts have. Shameful...

This is ridiculous... these guys are watched by thousands of young people who try to emulate their every move, on and off the football feild. Animal abuse is a crime. Yes, Michael Vick and his "buddies" should be convicted to the fullist extent. Maybe this will prove that just because your on tv and making millions of dollars for doing basically nothing, you are not above the law. It makes me sick that these jerks are laughing.
Are the dogs laughing?
