Fellow members, Are you as sick about this as I am??? This little duck was a tame little duck that was friendly to everyone at this hotel. (Please read my other post on this.) He cornered it and in front of everyone, well, I can't even get the words out. It was horrible. He was drunk and in cold blooded murder, killed this sweet little duck. NOW I find that our tax dollars are paying for this @%##$%! He is also now on "PAID LEAVE!" Oh friends, I am not computer saavy, but we need to let his bosses know he needs to go!

This sick excuse for a human being deserves to have his own head ripped off! He needs to get more than just a tap on the wrist for the horrible deed he's committed.

This makes no sense at all!! Michael Vick is going for trial for letting killer dog fights go on in his own property but this piece of scum kills a helpless and friendly duck and he doesn't get crap!!! It must be nice to know the big guys! It's crap like this that makes me despite our government.

I can't really think of a punishment strong enough for this demented butthole - is this what working for the Bush administration does to people?

Hopefully he'll soon be put on permanent unpaid leave -- during his prison term for animal cruelty.

The more I read about these acts of animal cruelty it absolutely sickens me. I don't understand what is wrong with mankind to treat another creature this way. That is not why we were but on this earth. In my opinion his penalty should be stiffer than the recommended because he will probably not get the maximum. He certainly should not be on paid administrative leave. This is an open and shut case, people witnessed him do the crime. Yes I agree everybody deserves their day in court, but he should at the least not be paid while he is waiting to go to trial. In my opinion the Department of Health and Human Services should relieve him of his duties.

The cruelty of some human beings never ceases to amaze/disgust me. I think they should DOUBLE whatever the sternest punishment allowable by law is for this moron! Maybe it'll make him and others like him think again before murdering a helpless animal.

Absolute subhuman filth. This demented monster should be put away, he is a danger to civilized people. If he doesn't at least get promptly fired and a hefty jail sentence, then that will give carte blanche to any jerk who simply feels like torturing or killing an animal or who uses alcohol to try to defend the defenseless. All subsequent lawyers will have to do is cite this case and scream unequal justice if his or her client is charged with animal cruelty. Very bad precedent if he does not get the maximum. What a selfish, heartless, depraved, ignorant, mindless, twisted freak. Of course, he thinks nothing of brutally killing animals, as a hunter, he has had a lot of practice. Let's hope he goes to jail and gets what's coming to him.

This little duck stayed in my heart. I couldn't stop seeing it's plight with this monster. I have emailed every conceivable advocacy group about this. We CAN make a difference, my wonderful friends. I love you all for your compassion. Thank you.
