We are glad to hear the recent Amur leopard census results announced by WWF but we would not say that the results are sensational.

One can only Pray that these beautiful creatures get a "Leg" up! They have enough problems with other animals without Mankind wanting a part of them. Thank you Olga! xx

If only humans would stop their hatred and assault on animal life...we would not have to be here daily fighting for them just to have the right to live. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these fabulous animals get a chance...god knows they were here 1st and are more worthy of living then most humans!!! Thx Olga for posting this.

This is wonderful news! Any progress that is made in increasing the numbers of these rare and beautiful animals is thrilling to hear- but we need to continue with this trend. Extinction if unforgiving, we must keep increasing their numbers and be forever vigilant to act immediately if these numbers drop! Thank you Olga for this heartening news!

WWF is the wolf in sheepsfur - first they destroy and then they look for sponsors to fill their own bags - since they exist.

We should have never let the population get down as low as it did. Now there isn't a diverse gene pool to keep the Amur healthy.

Thanks for sharing dear Olga..
But we can never be lulled into complacency, for these numbers are sad, and wiuld still be so even if multiplied by 100. :-(
