We should have listened to Mr. Rodale of organic gardening fame. He was teaching the farmers how to cover crop,and rotate crops. How organic matter in the soil is enough to protect plants from drought, disease and insect infestation without the use of chemicals. I have tried all his methods and they work! The food produced is not just chemical free but contains twice as many nutrients and minerals from being grown naturally.
You can't fool mother nature but if you work with nature you will get gold!
