The Legacy of Bush and Blair

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well here are a few trillion words.
Caution these pictures are very explicit. If you however want to know the true cost of war then these would be the places to look. So in the Future when you think of Blair or Bush this is their legacy, this is what they have done. This is what they have left behind.
If you can bear to look at them all as I did, when you are finished you may have a very different outlook on what war really truly means.
Threw the eyes of child how this must all seem.
The horror they must live with day to day.
Never ending torment.
Never ending fear.
Never ending war.
Never ending destruction.
Never ending death.
This is their legacy for the world to view.
They view themselves as great leaders.
What a sham. How sick to think they believe they are great wonderful men.
Their legacy is death.

The following pictures are only of a very tiny fraction of the thousands of Iraqi Civilian Victims who have been terrorized, humiliated, injured, maimed and killed through British and American Bombing of civilian areas in various cities of Iraq. Due to insecurity, Independent Reporters could not and still can not reach many areas to photograph and report the atrocities. Even after the bombing had stopped, thousands of civilians continue to suffer and die due to their severe injuries

Victims of the Anglo-American Aggression

We will let you be the Judge. An honest and Just Judge. Not one that is prejudiced and influenced by corporate Media (that is heavily controlled by governments and commerce) but one that still retains his/her common sense and has some human compassion still left in him/her. Not one that sees other human beings through the colour of their skin, but through the colour of their blood. Not one that considers human life and their suffering as a justifiable price to pay for our cheap oil and luxuries, but one that does not consider the blood of the innocent to be cheaper than their oil resources.

Elsie, I don't know HOW Bush can stand in front of a mirror, let alone infront of the WORLD, as an arbiter of justice and moral authority! Our government's actions - both reckless and plotted out - have harmed, maimed and killed SO MANY around the world since he took office that it's embarassing to be classified as an American under his DICTATORSHIP. Our use of cluster bombs, our lack of good training for our troops, our lack of supplying proper equipment for them and this administration's general disregard for all human life is absolutely appalling. I am ashamed of my country...and it's a terrible feeling.

Troops must lay down their weapons and not fire a single shot more at any Iraqi.
Airplane pilots must REFUSE TO GO ON ANY MORE BOMBING MISSIONS.
NO shot fired at an Iraqi citizen, or his family or his children, is justified for ANY reason whatsoever.

Iraqis are only trying to defend their country and get ALL AMERICANS OUT. They don't want their oil stolen. Bush is trying to hang on until the current negotiations to turn the oil over to the U.S. and Britain go thru the puppet Iraqi Parliament.

AMERICANS ARE NOT JUSTIFIED IN FIRING ANY SHOTS, EVEN TO DEFEND THEMSELVES. Yes, I said it and I will say it again. AMERICAN SOLDIERS, AND BRITISH AND OTHER SOLDIERS, IN IRAQ, ARE NOT JUSTIFIED IN FIRING EVEN TO DEFEND THEMSELVES.
They are ONLY justified in LEAVING. That's IT. That's ALL they can morally do. NOT DROP A SINGLE BOMB MORE; NOT FIRE A SINGLE SHOT MORE.
They DIE FOR A LIE. Both Americans AND Iraqis.

If the American troops STOP FIRING, THE IRAQI RESISTANCE WILL STOP FIRING AT THEM.
And that is what happened in Viet Nam. American troops stopped "doing battle" with the Viet Cong; and the Viet Cong stopped firing at them. THIS IS RECORDED IN THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE PARIS PEACE TALKS; as well as in plenty of anecdotal evidence of soldiers who were there.

There is NO SENSE AT ALL in obeying the INSANE commands of an INSANE COMMANDER-IN-THIEF.

Where Bush and Blair go they leave a bloody trail of death. They should be in prison for crimes against Humanity. But you will never see those Pictures on the CNN, Fox or any other new media in the US or Britain. Or even here in Canada or in many other countries Like Australia etc. In the view of the Media those who have died don't really exist but they are real people. Real children, real parents, brothers, sisters. They are merely numbers as far as they are concerned.
This is the legacy of Bush and Blair and should be remembered with this in mind. They certainly are not the great men they view themselves to be. They are criminals.

And for their service and enduring the mental trauma suffered at the hands and mouths of "commanding officers" they are brought home and sent into oblivion their" minds and bodies" broken. May the wrath of his god whom he extolls as this continues, bring Hell fire and brimstone to George W. Bush!

Just remember group, etau-tu-ta-tai, written by Aristotle, they are all within the same ! In my eyes, Democrats & Republicans, can you see the difference between a Liberal and a Conservative ? Not in the Government we, Americans stand for ! We, Citizens are nothing more than Social Security Numbers and we are at their mercy, nothing more or less. Yes, Government of the U.S. Citizen is out of hand, and by the way, a MESS !!!!!

" Terrorist: What the big army calls the little army".- unknown.
For some time now, I've been saying that Bush. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice,Gonzales et al, need to be arrested, taken to The Hague, and put on trial for genocide and crimes against humanity. Following a mockery of a show trial, we all got to see Saddam Hussein swing from the end of a rope. What I want to know is, when will the necktie-parties for Bush&Company take place? America has never had a dictatorial president until W. was selected in 2000 by daddy's pals on the Supreme Court. We all live in a police-state, my friends and sad to say, it's only going to get worse before it gets better. None of us lives in the same country we were born in. The United States is now the world's leading terrorist nation, and it will eventually lead to our once-glorious nation's complete and total downfall & collapse. But, as I've said for a long time, the American Ideal died the day that Robert E. Lee was forced to surrender his army to Ulysses S. Grant at Appomatox Courthouse, Virginia in 1865.

Well...gutwrenching. One thing we know has been true all along: the Axis of Evil is very real. There appears to be one very close to us geographically, not half a world a way and now we know who its membership is.

I, along with many, many others, judged France harshly fori ts failure to fall into line in our efforts against Iraq. While I probably will not--indeed, cannot-- change my mind on every point, I am certainly persuaded to think more deeply on that aspect of this horror story.

THE AMERICAN TROOPS WILL BE MUCH, MUCH SAFER IF THEY DO NOT FIRE A SINGLE SHOT MORE. AND MUCH, MUCH MORE LIKELY TO COME HOME WITH ALL OF THEIR LIMBS. THINK ABOUT IT.

IF THE AMERICAN TROOPS STOP FIRING AT THE IRAQIS, THE IRAQIS WILL STOP FIRING AT THEM. THEY HAVE SAID SO.

IF THE AMERICANS STOPPED GOING ON PATROL, THEY WOULD NOT ENCOUNTER ANY FLESH-SHREDDING IED's. THE IRAQIS ALL KNOW WHERE THE IED's ARE! THEY ARE NOT TELLING THE AMERICANS! THEY SEE THE IED's, SOME OF WHICH ARE MASSIVE IN SIZE, BEING LAID, AND JUST WALK AROUND THEM!

60% OF IRAQIS HAVE SAID THEY APPROVE OF AMERICAN TROOPS GETTING KILLED! 60% OF THEM APPROVE OF THE DEATH OF YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS BY IED's AND BY GUNSHOTS AND WHATEVER ELSE IS OUT THERE WAITING FOR THEM WHENEVER THEY GO OUT ON PATROL.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CONCEIVABLE REASON FOR ANY AMERICAN SOLDIER TO RISK LIFE & LIMB, AND TO INCUR THE HATRED OF MOST IRAQIS, BY GOING OUT ON PATROL! NONE! NONE WHATSOEVER!
NONE THAT ANYBODY CAN POSSIBLY THINK OF!

The Iraqis, their families, and their children, will be very happy if the Americans stop firing a single shot more; stop dropping a single bomb more!
IT IS TIME TO DO SOMETHING, NOT JUST TALK, TALK, TALK. IT IS TIME TO REALLY, ACTUALLY STOP THE WAR, THE ONLY WAY THE WAR CAN BE STOPPED. THINK ABOUT IT. THE ONLY WAY. BY MASS, MASSIVE CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE BY VERY LARGE NUMBERS OF TROOPS.

We lost our country when Kennedy was assinated, and the ploters covered it up. The CIA,FBI, Mafia, worked together to take out the 2nd president , who tried returning this country to its historic values and morals. Lincoln was assinated by John W.Booth, as the hit man for the Rotschild family, was spirited to England where he lived a long and prosperous life. Ironicaley one years later JFK was assinated for the same reason as Lincoln (the fed Bank) which by our laws is an illegal group of BANKERS who are outside this country. Kennedy was going to mint and print non interest money, (the FED. mints a quarter @ a cost of two and a half cents. the Fed. makes twenty-two and a half cent profit ) as with all monies minted or coined. It then loans out the money at prime plus variable to the US at interest rates we can never pay back.
Kennedy also was going to disband the CIA, and recall the troops from Vietnam, and did not want Israel to have any nuclear weapons. I do not have to state the history since then.
Reagan started to kill the unions, starting with the Air Traffic Controlers. The signal to Corporate America to do the same. He should have been Impeached for Iran-Contra, but took the blame and Ollie North comes off as some type of hero. Bush Sr. of course did not know anything about it ( he had left as Director of the CIA, and knew nothing) YEAH sure. Look at Nixons Administration, Bush Sr. administration, Clintons , now BUSHMAN Jr.
No our world decline did not happen but was planned all along. Every war we ever fought was a PLANNED war includeing Iraq.

Who has profited from such actions. The Rothschild family who has controled Banking since the Civil War, along with notable others John Rockefeller Sr, The Dulles Family and 83 Wars in Central America to protect their United Fruit Company, the ILLUMINATI czar J.D.Rockefeller and every Rockefeller since, Andrew Canegie, John Jacob Astor, W.Averill Harriman, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton (6 degree Grand Dame) to many to keep listing.

Whats it all about Secret Societies, Committee of 300, 33 degree Freemasonry, Bilderbergers, Skull & Bones, Trilateral Commission, CFR,

Again Queen Elisabeth II (Queen of the 300) Prince Phillip,Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, Prince Bernhard,Peter Wallenberg, ALAN GREENSPAN, HENRY KISSENGER< GEORGE W> BUSH Jr., etcetera.

Henry KISSENGER: Comm. of 300, P2 Freemasonry, Knights of Malta, Bilderberger
George BUSH Jr. , Comm. of 300, Skull & Bones, CFR, Trilateral Commission.

It is my feeling the worlds Wars are Planned Events created by our Neo Cons and The Zionists, for control of The Middle East. Four permenent Bases in Iraq and an 800 million dollar Embasey says were staying the course and watch Israel, not the Jewish people but the Zionists who will never negociate peace till they have the land their Old Testement speaks of. They claim the other Semites living in the area are Arabs so if I say I am anti-Zionist, they reply your anti-Semetic. Catch 22 isn't it. They say the Arabs want to push them into the sea, They NEVER speak of the Old Testement Samuel 1;15:3, when coming out of Egypt Samuel says
KILL, EVERY MAN, WOMAN and CHILD and take the land.

Oh I don't know where to start. I never have agreed with wars, especially the war on Iraq as it was so unnecessary. We all know the towers weren't destroyed by terrorists and we all know it's a squabble for oil rather than a war on so-called terror.
My little boy was born a few months after this damned war started - he's now 4 years old. What does that say about the world he has to grow up in? Sometimes I wonder if I've done the right thing having kids. If we don't change the world, what hope have they got?

I would never have believed that I would see two illegal wars in my lifetim (oh 3 counting Korea). Never believed I would see the Laws of this Land so boldly bent and broken. Could not conceive of a Constitutional Crisis or a president who would be king. Soldiers - Lay down your arms and come home - they can't Court Martial every one of you - it's time for a revolution - in the service and in America at large.

Conservapedia and the Third Reich: Truth as Vandalism
One of the more surprising myths that has sprung up on the Internet in recent years is the premise that National Socialism was a leftist rather than a right-wing political movement. It’s a form of historical revisionism, rooted in cultural illiteracy, that’s been spreading like a rash through the worldwide web, popping up in comments pages, surfacing in the occasional blogger essay, and triumphantly being presented as an argument on online forums. Following the pattern of many such myths, it seems to be on the verge of breaking into the print media. Jonah Goldberg has a book coming out this December, LIBERAL FASCISM, that apparently offers a similar argument.

Anyone familiar with the history of Hitler’s National Socialist Party knows that the word “Socialism” in the party name was less an honest reflection of Nazi policies than a cynical attempt by party leadership to lure working class Germans into its ranks. As William Shirer points out:

The party had to play both sides of the tracks. It had to allow Strasser, Goebbels, and the crank Feder to beguile the masses with the cry that the National Socialists were truly “socialists” and against the money barons. On the other hand, money to keep the party going had to be wheedled out of those who had an ample supply of it. (“Triumph and Consolidation,” THE RISE AND FALL OF THE THIRD REICH, William Shirer)

Just for info, here is what one "evangelical Christian" had to say about Bush and the End Times: For more comments http://www.beliefnet.com/boards/message_list.asp?discussionID=228917

George W. Bush As The Anti-Christ

This area is for evangelical Christians to talk with each other about the end times, the Rapture, Jesus’ return, and related topics.

3/4/2003 3:00 PM 1 out of 751

We all argue and debate the way that the prophecies of Revelation should be interpreted. But as time passes, and we draw closer to "Midnight" on God's great countdown clock, I am becoming more and more convinced that we are living under the domination of the antiChrist.

I have read many evil things about this President. He professes to be a devout Christian, but he is supported and admired by all the Kingdon of Satan (the greedy and the wealthy). He "uses" strong Biblical language to keep believers under his spell, but does not live by, or even follow, the most basic peaceful teachings of Christ the Lord.

"Who is like unto the Beast? Who is able to make war with him?" ( Revelation 13:4)

So many Christian Americans actually ADMIRE this man's capability to make war! They blindly and willingly submit themselves to his mental domination, falling for every lie he feeds the Nation and the world, simply because he claims to be doing God's work. Terrible people can do terrible things, and still claim to be following "God's directive". (Like the Sept. 11th hijackers, for example) This does not mean that these people are actually living the Word, or following instructions from God.

The AntiChrist will be the Great Deceiver (which means that the vast majority of people will NOT KNOW that he's a liar). He will be the most powerful political leader on Earth (which immediately suggests an American President). He will lie, over and over again. He could easily be lying about his devotion to God, deceiving those "Christians" who are more concerned with politics and silly things like Pledges, than with following the teachings of Jesus.

Look at this President's background. Involvement with that evil Satanic cult in college. A long history of drug and alcohol use. Oceans of wealth and power, the very things which make up the foundation of the Kingdom of Satan on Earth. A scandal-ridden ascent to power. His history of being the bloodiest Governer in Texas history, who's ONLY act of "clemency" was given to Henry Lee Lucas, one of the most notorious serial killers in history. (While he executed born-again Christian prison activist, Karla Faye Tucker, and mocked her pleas for mercy afterwards)

And now look at the world. The Stock Market has crashed through the floor. People are losing their jobs everywhere. National Debt is soaring. We live under an umbrella of fear, perpetuated by a corrupt President and his power-mad Administration. And now we're off to make War in the Middle East.

How much suffering must we all endure before the willingly blind open their eyes and realize that this is not a man of God? This is a liar, a Deceiver who is "using" the Word of God to inflame the hearts of unsuspecting Christians, in order to gain support for his bloody warmongering and "collateral damage" murders of innocent people. I have never seen a man so intoxicated with his own power. He is twisting Jesus' own words to justify his actions, (“Whoever is not for me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Matthew 12:30) as if he's some sort of Messiah! Iraq is weak and famine-ridden, and is no threat to the US homeland. Iraq is ONLY a threat to Israel.

We're going to war to keep Iraq from attacking the only neighbor they dislike...Israel. As if our President is Israel's "Savior". As if our President is Israel's "Messiah".

Indeed.

I will pray for the safety of our Nation, but I fear the worst.

2 Tim 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts will they heap unto themselves teachers, having itching ears."

So has America become. We heed not the words of Christ, but the twisted interpretations of "teachers" - spiritual "leaders" who claim to be doing God's work, but who are doing nothing more than preaching what "itchy ears" want to hear.

May God help us all...

Something wrong is happening to the Western administrations. They seem to have got alienated from the human sensibilites that make culture possible. Though the West can boast of great literature that stands for human values, the adminsitrations have been the same from the early colonial days. This is due to the dead clasp of materialism that has taken over all popular establishments. There must be a movement to wrest them from the humiliating and degrading heartlessness. Otherwise we can write in such forums and go to sleep.

The duality of light and dark...we see it surfacing everywhere in everything. Only love is ever going to bring peace and so, the more people that we can wake up to EVERYTHING, the bigger army of love we have to fight against it all. How? We must sign the petitions, write letters, demonstrate when we can. We have to have our strength in numbers to be heard or listened to at all...with Booosh ... well he will never be there for us as he is mind controlled from a babe. Maybe this will come to a revolution. I will be there in the lines....yes, Ron Paul is the best pick (I pray)

This is all so horrific, I can hardly even read the news anymore... I find myself so saddened by it all, the suffering is so senseless... all of it and for what?... a bunch of political jesturing... i am most certainly praying that people of other countries don't think for a moment that mr bush represents the rest of this country either in thought or deed... he perhaps represents the greedy, self-absorbed, ultra-rich who think nothing of sweeping people out of their way to get what they ultimately want much like someone playing chess would sacrifice a pawn to protect their queen in a game ... but, certainly not the majority of caring people that live here in the country, but don't have the money or the political clout to make any sweeping changes... iraq is another viet nam and we need to get our troops out of there ASAP... we just need to keep signing those petitions

AND TO THINK THIS GENOCIDE IS COSTING EACH AND EVERY AMERICAN MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD OVER $500,000 EACH AND THE PRICE TAG FOR THIS GENOCIDE GOES UP EACH AND EVERY DAY.
ALL THIS DEATH COST EVEY AMERICAN OVER $500,000. BUSH STOLE YOUR MONEY TO MURDER ABOUT 1 MILLION PEOPLE AND MAIM, MANY, MANY MORE. I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH IT COST THE BRITISH BUT A FAIR AMOUNT I AM SURE. THEN THE SIDE AFFECTS FROM THE DU AND STARVATION WILL HIT AND KILL MILLIONS MORE. IMAGINE. THEN THEIR IS THE LOSS OF THOSE WHO WERE SENT THEIR. IT'S NO WONDER THEY COME HOME MESSED UP, IF THEY COME HOME ALIVE THAT IS???????

Yes, okay AS FAR AS IT GOES; but, MORE than signing petitions is needed.

The Troops are ALSO caring people, who were USED as DUPES. They thought they were going to Iraq for a Noble Cause; many of them enlisted after 9/11 {believing Bush's LIES about it}.
The TROOPS may not have money, but THE TROOPS DO HAVE POLITICAL CLOUT. If they USED it!!!
The step AFTER signing petitions, is to TELL THE TROOPS THE TRUTH, about how they are being USED, to support a LIE. They DIE for a LIE.
The Troops, plus the VETERANS, plus the TROOPS' AND VETERANS' FAMILIES, DO have Political Clout! Enough to defeat the fat-cat lobbyists, that are riding so high now!

Enough to bring this illegal war, to a screeching, immediate HALT.
The troops have GUNS in their hands. That is POWER. The troops don't HAVE to use their guns, their power, the way their INSANE Commander-in-THIEF, Bush, TELLS them to.
The troops have minds, hearts, compassion, too. TELL THE TROOPS THE TRUTH. The rest will be up to the TROOPS, to stop the war.

When one considers who he is, and where he comes from, it was difficult to respect George Bush even before he stood for election - his lust for death, for example, as Governor, and his pretense of being called up to the National Guard. To those who were ignorant of these things, the outrage of the rigged election, hanging chads, Jeb, the partiality of the courts, etc., should have been warning enough in themselves, as to the nature of his future behaviour in the White House. However, I doubt if many could have predicted the totality of his megalomania in action, especially 9/11. Now, even some sections of the christianists have come to see him for what he is!!

On the subject of impeachmant, it will not have escaped the notice of many people that when confronted by their wrongdoing, amnesia suddenly strikes the guilty party. If, and when, Bush is confronted with his crimes, he will have no need for a bout of amnesia. Just picture the scene. The bush family gathered at the breakfast table listening to George recounting tales of derring-do as he slugs down his glass of Rye, with tins of Colt 45 (got to be!) chasers. Laura manages to interrupt, to read him the latest White House press release. It too is full of lies, and exaggerations, and George begins to laugh hysterically, as Laura discretely removes the pretzles. George is too sozzled to be able to read it for himself, and, anyway, the words are too long for him. When this is over, he has to go the lavatory, before being guided to the Oval Office (he never could find his own way in life). He has a visitor from the Justice department, who informs him that they should go over his defense before the impeachmant preliminaries. George laughs uncontrollably, again, scaring the visitor, but George explains that there is no need to worry, he has it all figured out; he will plead insanity, and recall that he was too drunk to know what the rest of Bushco were doing in his name - Cheney and Condi had misled him all along!! Problem solved!! A bit farfetched? We shall see, if he has not installed himself as Dictator, and 'god-fearing' Decision Maker for life.

By the way, what a slap in the face for the peoples of the Middle East that the Bush Puppet, Tony Blair, has been appointed the Quartet's Peace Negotiator, thanks to the efforts of Bush, of course!!

OVERTHROWING THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PDF | Print | E-mail

December 2, 2004 Note to readers: I first wrote this OPINION PIECE about a year ago, on December 13, 2003. I have taken the liberty of updating it and re-publishing it. The updated portions appear in blue. Before you go running off to the FBI, Secret Service or any other agencies you should know this: This opinion piece is just that, an OPINION. This piece was seen by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force when it was first published and, while they didn't like it at all, they confirmed it did not violate any laws.

December 12, 2003 -- The first five words of the First Amendment to the US Constitution are plain: “Congress shall make no law . . . . .” Seems simple enough, doesn't it? Apparently not.

In 2002, the Congress of the United States violated the First Amendment to the Constitution, by passing the McCain-Feingold "Bipartisan Campaign Finance Reform Act.” Within that law is a provision making it unlawful for individual citizens to purchase television and radio advertising within 60 days of a federal election. The only persons allowed to make such purchases are candidates for office.

Such a restriction upon free speech is a clear violation of the First Amendment prohibition forbidding the government from “. . . . .abridging the freedom of speech . . . . . “ . Each member of Congress who voted for this law, violated his Oath of Office under 5 U.S.C. 3331 to “ . . . . . support the Constitution. . . . . .”

ONE AMERICAN HAS THOUGHT OF A WAY BUT I REALLY DON'T RECOMMEND IT.

http://www.halturnershow.com/OverthrowingTheUSGovt.html

I THINK PHONING YOUR REPRESENTATIVES WOULD BE MORE AFFECTIVE AND REALLY LETTING THEM KNOW WHAT YOU THINK MIGHT BE BETTER. IT MIGHT TAKE A CRAP LOAD OF PEOPLE BUT THAT WOULD BE NOT A BAD IDEA. THE MORE THE BETTER

David, how 'bout Peshawar, Kabul or Baghdad?

David Cromie (6)
Thursday July 5, 2007, 7:08 pm
The only problem with Baghdad, is that he would be shielded within the Green Zone. He would refuse to go to Kabul, unless we could spike his drink, first, and I think Peshawar would be too kind to him. I think he would be most useful in a Gaza tenament block, right on the firing line, and denied a Likud pass into Israel!! That might teach him more about the real seat , and source, of the problems in the Arab world today.

Hal is an American and he is suggesting the American people do it not anyone from any other country. But his hypothetical is a bit much. If it were Osama Bin Laden who said it they would beat it to death on the American Media however. They would go one about it for days if not weeks. It would be a media frenzy. They would blow it way over the top. I guess since and American says it it is OK, however. What most don't seem to realize is Hal has a lot of listeners. You should really check out the site. It is rather interesting.

There is a way to get people to see....join in the March from Atlanta to Washington....or spread the word. Enough is enough and it is going to take more than talk.....let's get our act together....Loud and clear.

Cindy Sheehan to March from Atlanta to Washington
Hi everyone,

Lets get together and join Cindy Sheehan's march on Washington
wa

Cindy Sheehan to March from Atlanta to Washington

Fort Worth, July 4 (RHC)-- Cindy Sheehan plans to take part in
an anti-war march from Atlanta, Georgia to the U.S. capital next week
in what she is calling the "People's Accountability Movement."

In a statement entitled "Call Out the Instigator," the peace
activist announced that she would join her good friend, the Rev.
Lennox Yearwood of the Hip Hop Caucus, in a march from the grave of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to Washington beginning Friday, July
13th - due to arrive in the U.S. capital on the 23rd.

Cindy Sheehan writes: "I'm not backing off. I tried to remove
myself from the political realm of the U.S., which BushCo is turning
into an Evil Empire, but the blatant audacity of George commuting
Scooter's sentence (he's not ruling out a full pardon - and you know
he will) has dragged me kicking and screaming back in. I can't sit
back and let this BushCo drag our country further down into the murky
quagmire of Fascism and violence, taking the rest of the world with
them!"

She said that "it is about time us "peasants" (in the eyes of
the Fascist Ruling Elite) march on DC with our "pitchforks" of
righteous anger and our "torches" of truth to demand the ouster of
BushCo. I have a dream of the detention centers that George has built
and filled being instead filled with Orange Clad neocons and
neoconnettes."

Cindy Sheehan ended her message with a call for mass
participation in the 10-day march that will begin next week.

"Turn off your TVs, kiss your pets goodbye, bring the kids and
flock to the federal seat of corruption, or join us on our walk
there, for a People's Accountability Movement to be in the face of
the Criminal BushCo and the Complicit Congress for the last week of
session before they go on their undeserved vacations (why do they get
vacations when the Iraqi parliamentarians don't?)."

The pictures speak volumes of the most hideous deeds of human-kind. There is nothing like actually seeing the resultsof "the war on terror". Axis of evil, my eye!!!! That's just Bu$h's projection of his twisted subconscious onto others. He is not one given to introspection. And just to add a little something extra, Blair is now an ambassador!!!!! The irony is excruciating.

The History Boys
By David Halberstam
Vanity Fair

August 2007 Issue

In the twilight of his presidency, George W. Bush and his inner circle have been feeding the press with historical parallels: he is Harry Truman - unpopular, besieged, yet ultimately to be vindicated - while Iraq under Saddam was Europe held by Hitler. To a serious student of the past, that's preposterous. Writing just before his untimely death, David Halberstam asserts that Bush's "history," like his war, is based on wishful thinking, arrogance, and a total disdain for the facts.

We are a long way from the glory days of Mission Accomplished, when the Iraq war was over before it was over - indeed before it really began - and the president could dress up like a fighter pilot and land on an aircraft carrier, and the nation, led by a pliable media, would applaud. Now, late in this sad, terribly diminished presidency, mired in an unwinnable war of their own making, and increasingly on the defensive about events which, to their surprise, they do not control, the president and his men have turned, with some degree of desperation, to history. In their view Iraq under Saddam was like Europe dominated by Hitler, and the Democrats and critics in the media are likened to the appeasers of the 1930s. The Iraqi people, shorn of their immensely complicated history, become either the people of Europe eager to be liberated from the Germans, or a little nation that great powerful nations ought to protect. Most recently in this history rummage sale - and perhaps most surprisingly - Bush has become Harry Truman.

We have lately been getting so many history lessons from the White House that I have come to think of Bush, Cheney, Rice, and the late, unlamented Rumsfeld as the History Boys. They are people groping for rationales for their failed policy, and as the criticism becomes ever harsher, they cling to the idea that a true judgment will come only in the future, and history will save them.

David Cromie (6)
Friday July 6, 2007, 3:12 am
Perhaps there will be the parallel of the Munich Putsch also, except that this re-run will be successful. I wonder if the History Boys have thought of the possibility? No need then, hopefully, for the Hal Turner scenario?

I hate war ! Especially this senseless war for greed and oil !
Anyone who would defend this war should look at these pictures and all our solder who have died or are in hospitals maimed for life both physically and emotionally and ask themselves just what they would do if our country was invaded like we invaded Iraq ? Would we hate those people who killed our people and fight back ? Or would we love them and let them occupy our country ?

What scares me the most is that Bush will decide he doesn't have enough time to satisfy his greed in Iraq before the next Presidential election and will declare that he must sit as President as long as there is still a war in Iraq !
This is not so far fetched ,,he is capable of our worse nightmares.
Hope we are ready to deal with that should it come ,,which I think it will .

Comments here range from getting rid of Bush which certainly makes sense-don't forget Cheney! And having the troops lay down their arms like in Vietnam-never happened! Yes, some troops did, but not all! In fact, as Americans withdrew BMutiny, they were being fired upon, and I think you know that's true. They never stopped firing on Americans and neither will the resistance in Iraq so if Americans lay down their arms they will probably die. It is up to the leaders of this country-probably the next President if people can get their heads around ELECTING ANOTHER ONE instead of attacking both DEMOCRATS & REPUBLICANS will end this war since no one would impeach BUSH AND CHENEY. They should be impeached even now - and then the war would be ended sooner w/o the need to talk about revolution-is it fun to do that? Have you given any thought to what comes after? This isn't 1776-I don't see any Thomas Paines around here or Benjamin Franklin or anyone of the caliber needed to form a new government or would you just prefer anarchy or chaos? Come on people-stop it! Get your heads back on and THINK! I know this isn't very popular these days, however, how about giving the old Constitution and Bill of Rights one more try-so we have a crummy president who wants to be a dictator-there are ways to get rid of him-VOTE HIM and HIS KIND OUT-don't fall for some QUACK or be side lined by some THIRD PARTY that doesn't exist-VOTE for a DEMOCRAT that is bought and owned by the Repugs- like O'bama -there is nothing BAD on him-if you were busy trying to foment Revolution you could look at the real candidate and pick one to ralley around to get rid of these jerks...there is no SHADOW GOV'T these idiots can't even run the gov't they've got now...go get elected if you can do better but don't tear the gov't apart even worse than it is already. I'm just too tired for this silly talk...noted

Weekly Update: 1,664 U.S. Casualties in June; Total Escalates to
65,278 July 5, 2007
Dear Pamela:
Veterans for Common Sense receives several e-mails each week asking us
for the latest Iraq and Afghanistan war casualty statistics from the
Department of Defense.

As recently as July 2, 2007, _the media_
(http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/forces/casualties/) continued
to incorrectly report casualty statistics as less than 30,000.
The under-reporting is intentional, as the Pentagon misleads us about
the human costs in order to maintain the dwindling Congressional and
public support for the lost Iraq War fiasco. The military misleads
the press, public, and Congress by narrowly defining
casualties as only those "wounded" while excluding our injured and ill.

The true facts reveal the number of battlefield casualties, defined as
"killed, wounded, injured, or ill," from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars
_escalated to 65,278, as of June 30, 2007_
(http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/files/VFCS/VCS_Complete_Casualty_Report_07-04-2007.pdf)
, according to official documents obtained by Veterans for Common
Sense from the Department of Defense (DoD) using the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA). VCS totaled the two separate DoD reports into
a _complete casualty report_
(http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/files/VFCS/VCS_Complete_Casualty_Report_0
7-04-2007.pdf) , showing the total number of combat zone casualties
for both wars is now 65,278.
VCS posted the two original DoD reports at our web site for _Iraq War
casualties_
(http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/files/VFCS/OIF_Casualties_Thru_06-30-2007.pdf)
and for _Afghanistan War casualties_
(http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/files/VFCS/OEF_Casualties_Thru_06-30-2007.pdf)
.
In the month of June 2007, the U.S. suffered an additional 1,664
casualties - killed, wounded, injured, and ill. That averages more
than 55 new casualties every day last month. That's devastating.
Please share these cold, hard facts with your friends, neighbors, and
reporters. When you meet with your U.S. Representatives and U.S.
Senators during their summer vacations, please provide them a copy of
our VCS report so they know the facts about the brutal consequences
of the two wars.

When it comes to the facts about these two wars, VCS leads the way
informing the public, the press, and the Congress. VCS believes that
good government policies begin in the reality based world
using facts, not in the pretend world of fear, lies, and incomplete
casualty reports issued by the military.

VCS hopes you had a nice Independence Day. _Please spread the good
word about VCS to your friends_
(http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/page/join) and
ask them to subscribe to our growing mailing list.

Sincerley,
Paul Sullivan
Executive Director
Veterans for Common Sense
P.S. Thank your for sending VCS your spare change last week. For
those of you who have yet to donate to VCS, if you like our updates
and the work we do obtaining facts about the consequences of the Iraq
and Afghanistan Wars, _please send in a tax-deductible contribution
to VCS today_

Thank you Robert for at least speaking factually because Veterans for Common Sense is a really good group. Let's talk rational, reasonable solutions like impeachment of both Bush and Cheney, like making the Constitution work! It's a good document that is being subverted by Bush and Cheney-they are the bad guys so let's get rid of them. It's up to Congress to do this and if they won't do their job! Then we march to Washington DC - all the PEOPLE- it's our responsibility as the PEOPLE to make the Constitution work!!!!! if the system of checks and balances isn't working- HELLO IT ISN;T working people because Bush and Cheney have declared themselves untouchable and thereby TRAMPLED ON THE CONSTITUTION AND US THE PEOPLE- DO NOT TREAD ON ME!!!!! Remember that? When it happens and Congress doesn't act and the Supremes are in the pocket of the Executive Branch -and you know they are...some of them are JOKES-Clarence Thomas for example is an embarassment to his race and that includes the HUMAN RACE. Then it is time for the PEOPLE to let Congress KNOW WE EXPECT THEM TO ACT NOW- END the WAR, IMPEACH CHENEY and Bush - and if they do not we have to MOVE out of our comfortable chairs and WALK, DRIVE, FLY to DC in mass and DEMAND in peaceful demonstration (OUR RIGHT BY THE CONSTITUTION) for REDRESS by the CONGRESS for them to ACT NOW. If we just TALK in circles and do nothing whose fault will it be when this country fails from within like a rotten apple? Noted

I'm sorry folks, I just cannot wrap my head around the name of this conflict. It is called WAR against an enemy. All I have ever seen is an "illegal invasion", from the get go. Oh I give you that Saddam was a bad guy, with all his Sunni cohorts, family included. You must remember also the riches in AMERICAN GREENBACKS found in all those palaces. Where did all that cash come from? The opulance that the Iraqi's had to witness the Sunnis flaunted was heartbreaking, to know that all that money would never be used to help them. OK I shut up! I just had to say it.

it will take this country a very long time to recover from this administration. It makes me sick! These people who RULE with a computer disregard for the law are relentless. That poor little girl in the picture you just want to reach out and help her..............

We are always talking about puppet governments in this country. Look around folks, we have a puppet government right here in our own back yard. I hope nobody thinks Georgie is making decisions on his own. He is being TOLD what to do and say by the neocons who cover his butt all the time - Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice, Armitage, Bush Sr., etc., and probably even Barney.

I mean, really, the man can't speak in full sentences, enunciate clearly, or open the correct door to get out of a room. If we look closely, we might be able to see the wires controling his arms and legs ! !

The "winners" in any war would always be convicted of war crimes, if they had lost. There are no winners... there are only survivors.

In any war, seeds are planted to ensure another war begins...... sooner rather than later. It is only due to the efforts of peaceful non violent advocates and peace makers that we are free of war for any period of time at all.

Be grateful for people like BMUTINY. Pray for her and all those who FIGHT for freedom, democracy and PEACE.

A Child’s Cry
Can you imagine how I see life?
Can you understand what it feels like?
Can you know the agony?
Can you know how often I cry?
Is it so much to want to be happy?
Is it so much to want peace?
Is it so much to ask for love?
Is it so much trouble?
My friends have died.
My life is hopeless.
My relatives are sick.
My home is gone.
I am just a little kid.
I am so scared.
I am not who you think I am.
I am not bad.
Can you imagine how I feel?
Can you understand what I say?
Can you now see why I need help?
Can I tell you I am afraid? I am.
Is it so hard for you to understand?
Is it that I am different?
Is it my religion?
Is it I don’t count?
My memories scare me.
My thoughts are all sad.
My future is short.
My mother always has tears in her eyes.
I am just a little kid.
I am dying.
I am not who you think I am.
I am only kid.
Can you stop the bombs from coming down?
Can you stop the guns?
Can you help my mommy stop crying?
Can you take care of my friends?
It is hard to leave them knowing they are so sad.
It is not my fault.
It is not me who started this.
It is not easy to be a kid sometimes.
