Did you know -- If the US Congress did exactly all the right things with their domestic consumer safety laws, China, as a WTO member has the authority to drag the U.S. to one of the WTO foreign tribunals and basically claim our laws violate their rights

The next proposed step which is just a further step into globalization is the proposal that we enter into world- wide standards that would override our laws and literally bring us under fines for keeping them. There has already been a problem with Vit C coming out of China- so in a sense a standard of poor quality has been grandfathered in. These standards will be as close to the bottom as able so the deadly effects will continue to be cumulative and not sudden! People grabbing their throats is bad publicity!! China and Iran are buddies now- which is a error in the most disadvantageous way in not allowing A.(Iranian Pres.) to speak at the 9/11 site. His provoking words will work to his advantage now as the world watches. And the youth of Iran will be silenced more. That is a group we should be supporting if we really want allies in the Middle East. I'm beginning to understand why the world hold the American people accountable instead of our government. They would probably like to come over and snap us out of this stupor we seem to be under. We don't have allies with our policies- but we do with our ideals.

Believe me, in essence the power brokers have already established world trading standards ( or no standards). They slipped this in right under our noses because the main stream media never reported this and most people don't take the time to really understand things like NAFTA, CAFTA etc. If their favorite politician tells them its alright that's all they know. And for awhile I was one of those people. But no longer.

The corporate ownership and influence over the news networks has by and large stopped in-depth investigative journalism from reaching a mass audience. It is now left to alternative media, the bloggers and the internet activists to get the word out.

Ahhh, so now we know the REAL reason
Ahamndinejad was refused permission to
lay a wreath at Ground Zero!
Just like the U.S., China has Iran
by the short and curlies. Now it makes sense!
Is anyone here, besides me, old enough to
remember when China was one of the most closed
and isolated nations on Earth?
Kind of makes one nostalgic for Mao Tse-Tung.
Thak you kindly, PamelaLyn.
