Child soldiers are usually depicted as victims. That's accurate: Exploited, torn from their families, deprived of their education, and forced into battle, child soldiers are truly casualties of war. They are cheap efficient weapons of assymetric warfare

Another sad truth about the state of the world. A practice that has gone on for thousands of years and will continue. Truly heartbreaking.

how can foreigners help to stop civil wars in these countries? why don't the experts ever address solutions that can be enacted by their readers.

It is so sad. They are killing the innocenity in the child. Instead of holding a book in his hand u can see a rifle instead. What a future is for this child.

A sad testament to man's inhumanity; take an innocent child and turn them into a killer [and then some].
