Now that democracy is gone, a wealthy few are living off our past investment, and cutting back on the things we used to do for each other.

I thought this was a good article, too Robert. It is factual and clear.

We the People are bombarded with pro-corporate propaganda. You're right Jason, so maay are just mindless consumere of stuff, and of corporate-controlled media, too.

I loved that chart, too, Dandelion. Its depicion of democratic vs. plutocratic rule is crystal clear.

Well, THEY are doing fine. As for little me, I've been grateful to have a job. But here's what happens with my pay...nothing- for many years. Ok, like so many out there, I've borrowed everything that I possibly can from myself. In order to pay bills, I have months where I literally need to borrow to get by. I'm in retail management. Anyone who knows about that will tell you that for 9 plus hours (30 min) break, we multi-task sometimes exponentially...Payments rise every year and our wages go nowhere. Yes, I'm happy to have a job though...Somethin's gotta give. It is thorough chart.
