Researchers at the Center for Conservation Biology (CCB) in Williamsburg, Va., have documented incredible feats of endurance by migrating Whimbrels (large shorebirds with long, down-curved bills) flying through storms, only to fall foul to the guns of unregulated hunting on islands, such as Guadeloupe and Martinique, as well as Barbados, French Guiana, Suriname and Guyana.

Earth truly has animals that defy our abilities to even understand their feats of survival...........but to fall prey, fall from the sky, shot dead by a hunter with a damn gun is unthinkable! I am beginning to think that most of humanity really does not deserve to be on this planet..........hunters should be all shipped off to Mars and keep the new rover company shooting holes in rocks!!

Hunters should all be put on a battle field, at the end of the earth, to shoot each other into oblivion...

Noted! Birds have been flying a lot longer than man...I think they have a built in sonar system by God that lets them know how to avoid a severe storm OR the power to make it through one!
