TransCanada Dodges Questions on Its Controversial Land Agent/Preacher

Myron Stafford's position at the church quickly gave him standing in the community -- and it sure didn't hurt his day job, obtaining easements for TransCanada to build the controversial Keystone XL tar sands oil pipeline across Nebraska.

Not the first time cynical use has been made of religion, won't be the last.

I notice he's in Nebraska; the very state that is the lynch pin to getting Obama to approve the new pipeline route through the Midwest and South to Houston and New Orleans.

First, ditch TransCanada completely and retract all easements they may have been issued. Keep the easement records so someone competent (like the Alaska Pipeline crews) can be issued the easements an build a no-leak pipeline.
Second, dump this preacher, preferably in the Arkansas oil spill. He likes TransCanada so much, he can swim in tar sands oil and enjoy the results of letting drunks lay pipe.

Pathetic abuse of power by a foreign corporation; how this is allowed in America is beyond me.
