While most planets orbit a host star, like the Earth revolves around the sun, an international team of scientists recently spotted a planet without a star. The extrasolar planet, dubbed PSO J318.5-22, appears to be drifting through space.

There must be millions of planets like that out there. No home star. Gotta have a star, or there'll be no life. I love reading about finding new stars and planets, etc., out there in the universe. What's most fascinating is the millions of stars WITH suns, meaning we ain't alone by any means. .
