Great Western Bank sold the home to the homeowner's buyer just days after foreclosure. The bank had allowed the owner to make repairs and plan the sale, only to snatch the home and sell it to the same buyer a the last minute at a $90,000 discount.

I AM SO DISGUSTED BY THE BANKS AND THEIR RIPOFFS . MY OWN HOME IS IN FORECLOSURE BUT THE BANK DOESN'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL DEED OR NOTE, BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP THEM FOR ILLEGALLY FILLING THE FORECLOSURE.
I AM STILL FIGHTING THESE CORRUPTED SYSTEM!!!!!

Great Western is a nationwide bank. I don't personally know of a horror story involving them, but the law firm should contact Occupy Homes Detroit and Occupy Homes Atlanta, which know of many horror stories. And Occupy Homes Minneapolis. One bank, not Great Western, sent the Sheriff to evict a mayoral candidate and a candidate for city council ON ELECTION DAY. Someone will be able to provide some evidence. I moved to a Credit Union a year and a half ago myself. Ileana, I am so sorry. Is there a nearby Occupy Homes group that might be able to help? I wish for you to be victorious, and I wish the same for the homeowner in the article.

I am not in the least bit surprised. After all, they need to pay the CEO's their outrageous salaries and where can they get the money except off the back of the poor consumer.

Thanks for your comments, everyone. I'm sorry to hear of your exploitation by another bank, Ileana. They have the nerve to do such outrageous things because it seems they can get by with about anything. They don't seem to be embarrassed by the fact that they look like a bunch of thugs. They just don't seem to care about anything except making money, no matter whose lives are being ruined.

Thanks for the info, Joanne. That story is pretty outrageous! I will pass the word about the Occupy Homes people along to the attorney's office.
