Prince William: could the timing for a hunting trip be any worse? He and his brother, Prince Harry, shot wild board and stag in Spain, days before hosting a high-profile campaign against illegal hunting. Let him know how disappointed you are!

Now, THIS is a petition I can get squarely behind. As much as it's cowardly murder (after all, how does one become ROYALTY in the first place, and then continue to believe in the 21st Century that it's an appropriate institution) to hunt for sport, it's also the GREATEST IN HYPOCRISY to take pleasure in something and then seek to deny everyone else the opportunity to enjoy the same thing -- even if the thing you are putting a stop to is "wrong." Don't you worry -- he'll find another way to hunt if he feels he can justify it. He's not his mother, that's for sure.

Well, Carmen, he won't read what I wrote ... but here it is anyway:
You were deprived of knowing your mother long enough to realize that she would not have approved of what you're doing. By now you should know enough about her soul to realize that your hunt is an abomination against nature. Of all the people in the world, you don't need to hunt for food for yourself or your family -- and you certainly weren't doing so on this trip, no matter where the poor critter's remains went. Make your mother proud, along with the rest of us. There's no room for hypocrisy, or hate or cold-bloodedness in your life. Your family history is filled with that. Instead be of your mother's wisdom and kindness, and like that of Ghandi: be the change we need to see in the world.
