This, of course, is reasonable. It is the views of myself and my colleagues who oppose the most vicious and brutal ideology on the planet, the sharia, that are the problem. We are extreme. We are intolerant. Obama say, "respect it!" Obama say, "stand down

I feel bad for this poor woman, born into such a society that detests women and loves violence so much that he would such a thing, and no doubt think himself noble and holy.

How women can psychologically survive such an abused status is a wonder. I think if women in the West were to find themselves in a host of Islamic countries that do this sort of thing, our will to live would evanesce, as those from Kenya, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Philippines and other countries from which women come to work as domestic servants and become virtual slaves to rich Arab oil states often do, if they are not murdered first.

Islam may be good for a few women, but for most of humankind, it is a blight to be banished from the earth.

Thanks, Beatrice.

How can the defenders not see that this religion inspires acts that, in any civilized country, would be considered heinous crimes?

I can think of no worse fate for a woman than to be born in the Islamic dump called Pakistan. And things aren't going to change anytime soon.

Women around the world should speak out for the women in the Middle East and in any other country in which Sharia Law is practiced. We have to put an end to violence against women.
