This would be great if its true. It works with water as a fuel rather than Uranium. However it still concentrates power control in the hands of a few for profit while solar power is clean and free. You can even make your own solar panels out of found objects or saved objects like CD's and soda cans lessening start up costs. However you need to own your own home to go solar so this will be great if it really is clean and safe.

Well, an interesting approach.

That is for sure that fossil fuel based energy businesses should be forgotten and banned.

I agree with Jolene that it will be a business still for the few selected ones and water is precious, could be used for better purposes also.

Perendrev type and zero point free energy should be allowed for humankind, but sadly it seems that dark forces will not allow that....maximum such types of medium - sustainable '' greener type '' but not totally green solutions.

On the other hand there might be also another face of interests in nuclera energy and isotoposes...A couple called Irradia couple from Russia: Ziria and Radium - now maybe already in the US - explained in the interviews of Mountauk survivor Steward Swerdlow what they need as food ... and why...and that there are others as well who need such diet to feel well, what is obviously strange for us humans lobbying, signing, ''fighting'' for the right of organic foods.

There would be a very simple solution to please both sides, but once again sadly that would not bring the amount of profit the greedy elite has been used to ever since.

Noted. TY for sharing dear Jolene.

I know that this has been a covered topic for a long time in the past, fusion vs fission nuclear energy. Having spent years fighting the Nuclear industry I really don't want to see nuclear energy period. Both still produce nuclear waste although I know fusion waste doesn't last so long but still, it really isn't needed when we have so many other forms of technology at our fingertips.

Hemp and algae can both be grown quickly and turned into fuel, solar, wind, waves, thermal, turning our own fecal material and garbage into fuel, so I don't really see where we need to get into this. Someone is now in the process of cleaning up the plastic garbage patch in the pacific ocean, he devised a way to get it out of the ocean, we can turn that plastic into fuel.

So expensive, fusion, when other methods are cheaper to get on board. I just hate to see one dirty fuel be replaced by another problem.

Hi Jolene,
Solar energy is clean and free. That cannot be said for Nuclear energy fusion or fission...peace..

I did not realize that Fusion still produced Nuclear waste. When they said clean and safe and made from water I thought it was not radioactive. I do not consider radioactive waste clean. Thanks for the information Dandelion and Cheryl A. I agree if it creates radioactive waste it is not needed or wanted.

Yeah, IF it were true. Still too dangerous for human beings to mess with....no matter how 'safe' someone says it is. Thanks, Darren.

I hope it works and the Trump admin doesn't mess up the progress to get it on the market.

This is interesting, and I can't say much more until I look more deeply into the issues involved with fusion. It looks like a lot of investors are behind this seemingly magic bullet, being researched by a number of inventors. Thanks Darren and Jolene.

Well, I will wait and see. If we can develop viable FUSION, now that will be something.

Oh really.....is it all about clean and safe nuclear energy or all about the profits in the pocket? Too much self-serving deception in this world and I find it very difficult to believe anything nowadays. But, we'll see. Thanks for posting.
